She’s been with us through a relocation, a pandemic, and countless ups and downs over the past 9 years ; and now it’s time to bid farewell to a core part of the Lawlor family.

If you’ve ever visited Lawlor Pharmacy, chances are you’ve been helped by our amazing part-time pharmacist, Madounna Beshay.

She has cared for our patients with compassion, professionalism, and a smile that made even the toughest days easier. But with her recent move, the commute is no longer sustainable; and while we’ll miss her dearly, we are excited for her next chapter.

Madounna, thank you for your years of dedication and heart.
Lawlor will always be your home. ❤️

This week is a bit emotional for me. It's the last week that I'll work alongside this legend.
Leona Purcell has served this pharmacy for over 50 years. A career that witnessed 3 relocations, and several changes in ownership (me being the last). Leona has faithfully served generations in our community.
Through good times and tremendous hardships, Leona was always there. To me she was more than an employee...she was a pillar, an anchor, a matriarch. It was an honor to serve by your side. We love you Leona.

This holiday season, I'm filled with gratitude for the wonderful people I have the privilege of calling my pharmacy family at Rylander Pharmacy and Lawlor Pharmacy. These dedicated individuals share a common bond: a commitment to putting patient dignity and well-being above all else.

At our Lawlor dinner, we had the pleasure of having the matriarch of our pharmacy, Leona Purcell, among us. Leona has dedicated close to 50 years of her life to this pharmacy and continues to work with us part-time. Her unwavering commitment and experience are invaluable to our team.

As I often say to our students on their first day, "Remember this day well because in 10 weeks, you'll be a different person." Wendy embodies this transformation. She not only warmed up to the concept of community pharmacy but also achieved substantial personal growth along the way.
