What would be on your life’s playlist?
At Pinky’s Up, we’re introducing A Life Well Played, a new music‑led initiative as part of Hospice Toronto’s growing expressive arts programming.
It’s built on a simple but meaningful idea: music connects us to memory, emotion, and the moments and relationships that shape who we are.
During the afternoon, guests will be invited to create their own personal playlist, a collection of songs connected to their life, their story, and the people who matter most.
All as part of a shared afternoon of tea, music, mimosas, and connection.

We look forward to sharing this experience together.

✨ Compassionate Care From the Point of Diagnosis

At Hospice Toronto, care begins at the point of diagnosis, providing an immediate, holistic layer of support for people living with serious or life-limiting illnesses — and for the families and caregivers who support them.

Our programs help clients live as fully as possible with services such as:
• Accompaniment to medical appointments
• Light homemaking support
• Respite for caregivers
• Expressive arts and emotional support programs

Whether in-home, in the community, or online, we’re here to ensure no one navigates this journey alone. 💛

💛 Volunteers are the heart of Hospice Toronto 💛

Decades ago, our hospice community was built by individuals coming together to care for their neighbors — and today, volunteers remain the foundation of everything we do.

From providing compassionate support to clients and families, to helping with events, advocacy, and creative initiatives, there’s a role for everyone who wants to make a difference.

Join our dedicated team of volunteers and help bring comfort, dignity, and care to families across the GTA.

✨ Client Spotlight ✨

We’re honoured to share a reflection from one of our palliative care clients. 💛

Feeling supported and connected can make all the difference during serious illness. Our team works to ensure every client feels seen, cared for, and never alone.

It’s a privilege to walk alongside our clients and families with compassion and dignity each day.

💛 Anticipatory Grief Support

Grief can begin before a loss happens. Anticipatory grief is the set of emotions people may feel when facing an expected loss — including sadness, worry, anger, and exhaustion. These feelings are valid, and you don’t have to carry them alone.

Support is available through our Bereavement Support programs, including one-to-one volunteer support and expressive art therapy.

Helpful coping strategies:
• Name and acknowledge your feelings
• Talk with a trusted support person
• Create small daily grounding routines
• Express emotions through writing or art
• Seek guided grief support
