🚨 ACTION is the focus this month. Hunger Action Month is not just about raising awareness; it’s about what we do together to create change. Awareness without action changes nothing.
🍽️ Every September, Hunger Action Month reminds us that hunger is more than empty plates. It is about parents under pressure, children struggling to learn, and families forced to make impossible choices. For Black communities, food insecurity is even more urgent, reflecting generations of inequities that still persist today.
🤝This is why the Food Security Fund exists. We are raising funds to build an infrastructure of support for community-driven solutions that ease the pressure on families, create consistent access to food, and invest in long-term systems that address hunger at the root.
But to build this, we need you to get involved and stay informed. Change begins with conversation and collective awareness.
