Open 364 days a year (closed for Day of Pause) Moksha hot yoga is a unique yoga series that combines the precision of therapeutic yoga and the foundations of traditional yoga in a specially heated room. The series is a cardiovascular workout that strengthens, tones and loosens the muscles, while calming the mind and reducing stress. The ‘hot’ in hot yoga allows for deep, safe stretching and promotes detoxification of the skin, blood and muscles through sweat. Classes are suitable for all levels of ability, even ABSOLUTE beginners with limited flexibility!

Winter can make the body feel heavy and the mind feel slow, but a few intentional poses can bring warmth, clarity, and a gentle lift to your mood.

Here are 3 poses to support you through the darker months:

🧘‍♀️ 1. Upward Dog
Opens the chest, brightens the heart space, and counters the hunching we naturally fall into during cold weather. A powerful energizer to spark internal warmth and lift your spirits.

🪑 2. Revolved Chair Pose
This gentle twist wrings out stagnation, improves circulation, and refreshes the mind. Twists support digestion and help you feel lighter-physically and emotionally.

🧘‍♂️ 3. Seated Forward Fold

Our December Fundraiser (Dãna) recipient supports The Sameer Project( ), a donations-based initiative led by four Palestinians in the diaspora, providing emergency aid and medical support to displaced people in Gaza. 💙

From supplying tents to covering critical medical treatments, tests, and doctor visits, The Sameer Project is helping those who otherwise wouldn’t have access to life-saving care. Your support directly helps those most in need. 🙏

Since 2007, our Dãna Fundraiser classes have been about more than yoga—they’re about living our practice: reaching out, giving back, and supporting meaningful change in our communities and the world. 🌍✨

Our beloved tradition returns ...

Join us on Wednesday, December 31st for our Hummingbird Hatha Silent with Music and our warm Potluck Celebration, guided with intention by Don Christensen.

Together - through breath, movement, and shared presence - we will ceremonially close the chapter of 2025 and welcome the coming year with open hearts and renewed faith in what’s possible.

As always, we will end at midnight in savasana, resting in stillness that extends far beyond our studio walls, carried outward by the collective vibration we create.

This by-donation event supports The Sameer Project.

Space is limited, so please pre-register with care. If your plans shift, kindly cancel to ensure there is room for another Hummingbird to attend.

Our Yoga Story

MYBW is a heart based, environmentally conscious, community-driven yoga studio. Our practice is safe, inclusive and accessible.

What’s ‘Modo’? Modo is a Japanese word that means ‘A Place for All’. Modo Yoga is a form of hot yoga combining therapeutic sequencing and variations with the foundations of traditional yoga practice in a heated room. The series is a cardiovascular experience strengthening, toning and loosening muscles while helping to calm the mind, reducing stress.

The ‘hot’ in hot yoga allows for deep, safe stretching and promotes detoxification of the skin, blood, and muscles through sweat. Classes are suitable for all levels of ability, even ABSOLUTE beginners with limited flexibility!

MYBW offers mostly hot yoga classes with at 15+ reduced heat Yin, Vinyasa, Mindful Pilates and Stretch & Surrender (restorative) classes to support a balanced practice. We deeply value community and often gather for celebrations, potlucks, knitting night, Tea Talks, Karma fundraising events, and more.
