Open 364 days a year (closed for Day of Pause) Moksha hot yoga is a unique yoga series that combines the precision of therapeutic yoga and the foundations of traditional yoga in a specially heated room. The series is a cardiovascular workout that strengthens, tones and loosens the muscles, while calming the mind and reducing stress. The ‘hot’ in hot yoga allows for deep, safe stretching and promotes detoxification of the skin, blood and muscles through sweat. Classes are suitable for all levels of ability, even ABSOLUTE beginners with limited flexibility!

This month, our Dãna offering supports Christie Ossington Neighbourhood Centre (CONC) - a West Downtown Toronto organization that has been serving community with care since 1993.

CONC provides free, essential programs and support for children, youth, adults, and seniors living with barriers such as food and income insecurity, housing instability, health challenges, and the experience of being new to Canada. Their work is rooted in dignity, access, and connection. For more information on the work CONC does, visit www.con community.org

Our 8pm Friday Dãna class is a long-standing tradition - a way of living our yoga beyond the mat. Through collective giving, we support organizations creating meaningful change for both people and planet.

Our Yoga Story

MYBW is a heart based, environmentally conscious, community-driven yoga studio. Our practice is safe, inclusive and accessible.

What’s ‘Modo’? Modo is a Japanese word that means ‘A Place for All’. Modo Yoga is a form of hot yoga combining therapeutic sequencing and variations with the foundations of traditional yoga practice in a heated room. The series is a cardiovascular experience strengthening, toning and loosening muscles while helping to calm the mind, reducing stress.

The ‘hot’ in hot yoga allows for deep, safe stretching and promotes detoxification of the skin, blood, and muscles through sweat. Classes are suitable for all levels of ability, even ABSOLUTE beginners with limited flexibility!

MYBW offers mostly hot yoga classes with at 15+ reduced heat Yin, Vinyasa, Mindful Pilates and Stretch & Surrender (restorative) classes to support a balanced practice. We deeply value community and often gather for celebrations, potlucks, knitting night, Tea Talks, Karma fundraising events, and more.
