Sometimes the struggle happens right after success.
You reach the goal, and your brain immediately says:
• “I could’ve done better.”
• “It wasn’t a big deal.”
• “I was just lucky.”
• “Okay… what’s next?”
Instead of letting the win land, the goalpost moves again.
Over time, achievement stops being enough, you stop being enough, because your sense of worth becomes tied to performance and the next win. Not about the win right in front of you.
If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone.
Which one do you catch yourself saying the most?
