Even though diabetes is a common health issue, many people with diabetes live a healthy and fulfilling lives. Diabetes does have some complications, and your feet can be particularly at risk, because they contain tiny blood vessels and nerves. The main risk factors for patients are things like: peripheral neuropathy, reduced blood flow, and structural deformities

To avoid complications, regular foot care appointments are crucial for high risk patients to assess numbness and protective sensation, as well as structural or gait changes. Exams can detect minor loss of sensation, as well as monitor and treat minor problems such as corns and calluses before any chronic ulceration occurs.

We are excited to introduce Swift Microwave Therapy to the clinic as a new service. Do you suffer from stubborn warts, and have tried burning, freezing, or pouring corrosive acid over them, and still not seeing results?

It may be time to introduce Swift into your life.

Warts and plantar warts can be persistent because the body doesn't know they are there. Swift wakes up the immune system, allowing the body to fight back - often clearing warts in just a few sessions.

How it works:
Swift delivers a short, sharp dose of energy into the area just millimeters below the surface. Leaving your skin intact, Swift works by activating the cells and sending a signal to the body that the virus is present, and t-cells clear the infection.

Talk to us today about getting rid of those pesky warts...swiftly!

Improve your leg health and improve your heart health!

When we walk, our calf muscles activate and help pump blood towards the heart. Wearing compression socks helps, even when sitting or standing.

Give yourself a little TLC (Tender "Leg" Care) by doing some of these things:

Set a timer to get up every hour or so and walk around for a few minutes

Elevate your legs to boost circulation

Plan to walk for at least 30 minutes a day

Wear compression socks

We have a range of non-prescription compression socks from sigvaris group canada available for you to choose from in the clinic, just ask us at your next appointment!
