We are excited to share that North York General has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Seneca Polytechnic!

This partnership will:

✅Expand Work-Integrated Learning experiences for Seneca students

✅Strengthen recruitment pathways to support NYG’s workforce needs.

✅Advance innovative models of care and clinical placements for students in nursing and other health discipline programs.

✅Support a new counselling partnership, funded by the Province of Ontario, to help students experiencing complex mental health and addiction-related concerns

🌱 It’s at NYG!

Today, staff and volunteers came together for our spring clean‑up and helped create a cleaner, healthier outdoor space at our General site. Thank you to everyone who rolled up their sleeves to support NYGreen.

From reducing electricity, natural gas and water usage, to embracing reusable linens, cups, anesthesia equipment and even launching our first ever NYGreen Framework just this week, we have accomplished many things green at NYG. We even received top marks by the Toronto Academic Health Science Network in their annual sustainability report card!
