On , we celebrate and honour the remarkable women physicians at NYG who lead, mentor, and pave the way for future generations.

To mark the occasion, we invited a few of our women physicians to reflect on their journeys and share the advice they would give their younger selves before beginning their medical careers.

These physicians represent a range of specialties, including Family and Community Medicine, Psychiatry, and Anesthesia, and include members of NYG’s newly launched Women in Medicine (WIM) group—a supportive and empowering space for women in the medical profession to connect, access mentorship and resources, and achieve their full professional potential.

Thank you for shaping the future of medicine and delivering exceptional care to our communities.
