Ethan began his athletic career in the world of rugby, enamored by the intricacies of sport and fitness. As an athlete focused on power and strength, Ethan transitioned from the pitch to the platform representing Humber College as an intercollegiate Power Lifter. In his final year of post-secondary, Ethan advanced from athlete to coach, organizing and programming a team of powerlifters to compete against colleges and universities across Ontario. Before Ethan began his career as a coach and trainer, he pursued his Personal Training Certification with CANFIT Pro. Combining his technical knowledge of strength sports and the science of weight loss to achieve a flexible approach to body recomposition. In training, Ethan prioritizes building a strong foundation for movement, teaching every client how to move properly and avoid injury. For advanced lifters, Ethan provides a methodical approach to training, improving muscle quality, nutritional programming, and lifestyle strategies to assist all lifers in balancing health and enjoyment. New Years doesn’t have to be that time of year where you feel like you need to get your s**t together and make all these vows of Heath. ⛑

BUT it is a great time to START healthy long term habit building.

With January around the corner I’m walking into the biggest month of PT sales annually, and truthfully… I’m not excited for it. Not because I’m not excited to train so many new wonderful people but for the reasons they came to see me. They will spend hundred if not thousands of dollars working with me and see the results they want to achieve but they will spend more simply because the world told them they need to “get healthy this year”.

And when we say our goodbyes my biggest concern is the “healthy” habits they have tried to form over the past several months are rooted in pressure and concern over judgement of others.

THAT IS NOT how we make lasting positive change for ourselves. So before you take that first step forward ask yourself, am I ready to make this commitment with a positive mindset.

Ask yourself what else could be populating those calories?

Remember 1 gram of protein is 4 calories. So if your burger combo is 1000 calories and only contains 20 grams of protein..

Where are those extra calories coming from❔❔
