Traditional Muay Thai

Our school, established in 2004 by Ajarn Suchart’s first Canadian student, Kru James Hines, offers our clients traditional muay thai training in a friendly environment. We welcome all levels of fitness and experience. Classes are designed to support multiple levels of students from very entry level to fight-ready. Our goal is to help each individual meet his or her own goals, whether that be to lose weight, get fit, get fitter than ever, learn an age-old martial art, learn a bit about Thai culture, beat stress, feel able to defend oneself, improve self-discipline, earn their blue shorts, spar, fight in a demo, or earn a belt. New members can try us out for 2-weeks (unlimited classes) for $30 (HST included). Memberships are offered at very affordable rates ($119/mth for 12-months; $135/mth for 6-months; $149 for one month; and $75/month for full-time post-secondary students attending the post-sec schedule of classes). Members have the added bonus of knowing their fees go to support our free youth classes for young newcomers, youth-at-risk, and others in the youth community who benefit from the team spirit and focus of practicing muay thai. Our new location at 45 Camden Street (at Spadina and Richmond) offers a bright and airy space for our Old School family. We look forward to answering any questions you may have and hope to meet you soon. Our school, established in 2004 by Ajarn Suchart’s first Canadian student, Kru James Hines, offers our clients traditional muay thai training in a friendly environment.
