Duties and Responsibilities:
Pharmacist Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include:
(a) Ensure the accuracy of prescriptions dispensed.
(b) Consult with patients and caregivers by phone related to RX and OTC medications.
(c) Process prescriptions through dispensing software and ensure all required documentation is clear, concise, accurate, and appropriate.
(d) Liaise with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and needs.
(e) Provide professional functions related to medication dispensing including pharmaceutical care, nonsterile compounding, patient counseling, while documenting interventions and dialogues in the designated systems.
(f) Ensure company procedures, policies, professional standards are followed.
(g) Ensure all applicable laws and regulations are upheld.
(h) Supervise the adjudication of prescriptions, including the ongoing follow-up and collection of third-party receivables.
(i) Maintain the dispensary inventory levels within the prescribed guidelines through accurate perpetual inventory records.
(j) Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external healthcare professionals
(k) Develop internal pharmacy documents and procedures.
(l) Other duties as required
