Did you know…there are alternatives to antibiotics – Tissue Salts!

A large part of responding to illness, as the weather cools and microbes spread, consists of knowing your or your family’s “illness patterns” and responding to them quickly. That means nipping potentially serious sickness in the bud with the natural treatments and observing, hour by hour, how the system responds. Take, for example, a low-grade fever in a child who is still active, but you know something is not quite right – he or she may have pink cheeks (not red as in a high fever), appetite is low, eyes may be a bit droopy, sleeping more, or less. The overall picture does not scream “emergency”; however, if not handled immediately, it could possibly become one.

In this situation, an excellent treatment consists of Dr. Scheussler’s Tissue Salts (available from several homeopathic manufacturers). “Salts” is the medicinal name of inorganic mineral combinations, prepared in homeopathic low doses, and there are 12 basic ones, numbered the same way whatever the manufacturer. All these mineral salts are found in tissues of the human body are therefore are called "cell salts" or "tissue salts". However, the body does not make them, they must be taken in through diet or otherwise.

Tissue salts draw in organic substances right into cells to nourish them. One in particular, Ferrum Phosphoricum (Iron Phosphate) or Tissue Salt combo # 4, is very effective in livening up “droopy” symptoms before they deteriorate into serious illness, much as water revives drooping plants. Low fevers and other mild signs of “malaise” disappear rapidly, as the iron in this blend oxygenates the blood and normalizes health. IMPROVE THE HEALTH OF YOU & YOUR FAMILY

Fall 🍂 is here and cold and flu season is around the corner.

With all of the hustling to after school activities, homework, meal preparation or working late nights who has time to think of yourself let alone how to keep the entire family’s immune system healthy.

Like most people, that’s not on the menu.
UNTIL…that first sign of a runny nose, a tickle in the throat or those night “MOMMY” calls that never come at a good time.

You think “Oh! No”. So you rush to your medicine cabinet 💊 or the local pharmacy to get relief.

Am I right?

It’s Back to School Soon! 🏫

Does going back to school cause you and your child anxiety or stress?

The stress of whether or not your child will make friends, be liked and completes their homework on time, is concerning to you.

This is something I constantly hear in my practice.
Parents or caregivers hoping that their child wakes happy and the transition to back to school is smooth.

Crossing your fingers that the homework assigned is not overwhelming for your child.

I can tell you from my own experience with teaching children and being a homeopathic practitioner that an EASY transition does not happen on its own.

It requires PLANNING.

Here are some suggestions you can implement to make the adjustment easier:
• Have your child start their bedtime routine 😴💤 five or more days in advance
• If allowed, take a tour of your child’s school ahead of time 🚸 . Show them their classroom, the playground, etc
• Get your child interested in looking forward to meeting their teacher 👩 👨
• Have them write a hello letter or draw a picture to give to the teacher 📓
• Set a positive goal for your child, something to look forward to when they come home such as a creative activity 🎨 or a special meal that you both can do together

The first day of school can be successful.

Do you worry about attending gatherings because you have stomach problems?

I recently attended a birthday party .

Everyone brought a dish and we all had a wonderful time.

Here are some tips:
• Stop ✋ worrying about what you CANNOT eat at the gathering
• Instead, bring a meal YOU can eat and share with others 👍
• There are simple meals you can purchase 🏬 if you don’t have time to cook
• Learn to SIMPLIFY matters ☺ and not make them complicated

Sometimes, we can be our own worst enemy. Don’t doubt yourself….. you were invited because they like your company.

There are solutions for you…

Stop worrying about triggering your digestive issues as this will only cause you unnecessary stress.

The FRESH taste of water on a hot summer day ⛱ 🌞.

Did you know that water is also good for your gut health?

By keeping yourself hydrated, it not only helps your body physically and mentally but keeps your bowels regular.

Drink at least 4 or more glasses of water daily depending on your activity level.

If you are one of the many people who do not like the taste of water, here are some ways to spruce it up:
🚰 Drink carbonated water
🚰 Add flavour to your water such as 🍓, 🍑 ...
🚰 Insert fresh mint leaves into your water
🚰 Drink it at room temperature, add ice or cold from the fridge
