Thermography Clinic Inc.

Thermography Clinic Inc. With many clinics across North and South America we are a leading medical thermography provider.

Our company began in 1999 as an integrative medical practice specializing in the care and treatment of women's health issues. We introduced Medical Infrared Thermography into the practice and soon learned that women and their health care providers were impressed with this technology and were soon insisting on greater access to this non-invasive imaging technique and the information it provides. We have since evolved into a major innovator in the medical infrared imaging industry. We are a privately held corporation based in Toronto, Ontario that has successfully combined our years of clinical knowledge with the expertise of a team of highly trained software engineers, medical doctors, educators, and technologists to bring to market two turn-key medical imaging systems. One specifically designed for Breast imaging, the other for Full Body Imaging. We continue to provide the highest quality Medical Infrared Thermography imaging in our Toronto offices and at other selected clinics,
whilst being committed to advancing the profession of clinical thermography across North America.

Stress, Breast Health & the Hormone We Don’t Talk About Enough

Chronic stress doesn’t just live in the mind—it shows up in the body.

When we’re under long-term stress, the body prioritizes survival hormones like cortisol. Over time, this can lead to a depletion of DHEA, a vital hormone produced by the adrenal glands.

Why does this matter for breast health?

✨ DHEA plays a protective role in the body
✨ It supports immune function and healthy hormone balance
✨ It acts as a buffer against the effects of excess stress hormones

Low DHEA levels have been associated with increased inflammation, weakened immune response, and hormonal imbalance—factors that can influence breast health over time.

Many women—especially caregivers, high achievers, and those who’ve spent years putting themselves last—don’t realize how much their nervous system has been running on empty.

Breast health is multifactorial.
It’s about stress, hormones, emotions, lifestyle, and the immune system working together.

The good news?
DHEA levels and stress responses are not fixed. With the right support—nervous system regulation, sleep, nutrition, emotional expression, and preventative screening—we can shift the terrain. Also you may consider DHEA drops under the tongue to restore balance (DHEA pill isn't effective as it processed staight into the liver - converting to the worst kind of estrogen, estrone, giving you a fatty liver.

Understanding your starting point matters.
Your body is always communicating. Listening is powerful. 💗

Lower Body Imaging. Lower Body Thermography is a non-invasive, radiation-free image designed to assess pain, inflammation, and circulation issues in the hips, legs, knees, ankles, and feet. By detecting heat patterns and vascular irregularities, this scan offers critical insight into conditions that may be missed by conventional imaging; especially in early or subclinical stages.

What We Assess

✔️Arthritis and joint inflammation
✔️Nerve damage or neuropathy
✔️Thrombosis and circulatory dysfunction
✔️Sports and soft tissue injuries
✔️Chronic pain in hips, knees, or feet
✔️Referred pain from spinal or muscular issues
✔️Diabetes-related vascular changes
✔️Post-surgical inflammation or complications

Suppression of Anger & Breast Health

Dr. Gabor Maté, who worked extensively in palliative care, often spoke about a pattern he observed again and again: the repression of anger and emotions showing up alongside cancer and autoimmune disease.

As children, many of us deeply longed to be accepted, nurtured, and loved. When expressing emotions felt unsafe—or threatened our sense of belonging—we learned to suppress parts of ourselves. Over time, that self-suppression can become a lifelong pattern.

For healthy development, children need both attachment and authenticity. But when there’s “no room” for emotions, a child may learn:
To be loved, I must silence myself.

This pattern shows up especially strongly in women. Women are disproportionately affected by autoimmune diseases and non-smoking–related cancers, and are often conditioned to prioritize serving others over their own needs. Suppression is rewarded; authenticity can feel risky.

Dr. Maté often pointed to research following 2,000 women over a 10-year period. The women who were unhappily married and suppressed their feelings were four times more likely to die than women who were unhappy but expressed themselves.

The question becomes:
What is it costing you to keep suppressing yourself?

As a child, self-suppression may have been a survival strategy. But are you still doing that today?

Support matters. This can look like:
• Talking with a therapist
• Sharing honestly with a trusted friend
• Writing in a journal or diary
• Learning to listen to your gut feelings—and trusting them
• Practicing expressing emotions without fear of losing belonging

Your emotions are not a threat.
Your authenticity matters.
Your body is listening.

Reactive healthcare is often focused on treating symptoms once they appear, while preventative care aims to understand patterns, stressors, and imbalances earlier on. Both are valuable, but preventative care allows individuals to take a more proactive role in their health and wellness journey.

Preventative care doesn’t replace traditional medicine, it works alongside it, offering insight and awareness that can support long term wellbeing and informed choices. Sometimes, the most powerful step is simply paying attention sooner.

✨ Dry Brushing: a simple ritual that supports your immune & breast health ✨

Dry brushing isn’t just about smoother skin—it’s a gentle way to support the lymphatic system, which plays a key role in immune function and breast health.

Because breast tissue contains a rich network of lymph vessels, supporting healthy lymph flow can be especially beneficial. Dry brushing helps encourage circulation and movement of lymph, allowing the body’s natural detox and immune processes to work more efficiently.

A few quiet minutes before showering can help:
• Support lymphatic flow (a major part of immune health)
• Encourage circulation through the chest and body
• Reduce feelings of congestion or heaviness
• Gently exfoliate and energize the skin
• Create a mindful, body-aware self-care ritual

The key is gentle, intentional strokes—never aggressive, always moving toward the heart. This isn’t about doing more, but about supporting the body in what it already knows how to do.

Small daily practices can have a meaningful impact over time. 💛

Have you ever tried dry brushing as part of your breast health routine?

💡 Understanding the Scoring in Your Breast Thermography Report

If you’ve ever looked at your breast thermography report and wondered what the scores mean, you’re not alone. We’re here to help make it feel a little clearer — and a little less overwhelming.

Thermography uses a standardized scoring system based on 32 thermobiological signs to observe heat patterns and vascular (blood vessel) activity in the breasts. It helps identify patterns of change that may suggest increased risk and guide next steps for care.

This system, known as the Thermobiological Risk Scale (Marseille System), ranges from TH1 to TH5:

🔹 TH1–TH2: Low risk
These findings are "within normal limits" and indicate stable patterns at the time of imaging. Low risk doesn’t mean “nothing could ever develop,” but it does mean there are no significant thermobiological concerns right now. Regular monitoring helps keep you informed and confident over time.

🔹 TH3: Medium risk
This score suggests something to pay attention to, though it is not considered high risk. There may or may not be an underlying issue, and additional imaging — often a structural test such as ultrasound — is commonly recommended to gain more clarity and peace of mind.

🔹 TH4–TH5: High risk
These results show more significant changes and signal the importance of timely follow-up testing to better understand what’s happening.

✨ The key takeaway: Thermography is about awareness, not alarm. Your score isn’t fixed— it offers valuable insight to help you make informed, proactive choices for your breast health. Your breast health is very much within your control.

After your first thermography appointment, a phone consultation is available to help you understand your report and discuss next steps.
Additional phone support is available for follow-up appointments if needed. 💙
