A groundbreaking medical achievement at Shaare Zedek Medical Center.🙌🏻

For the first time in Israel, physicians successfully performed a complex catheter based procedure on patients with a rare and life threatening complication related to an artificial heart implant. This innovative approach, previously performed in only a few cases worldwide, eliminated the need for open heart surgery or a repeat transplant.💙

Thanks to the expertise, precision, and collaboration of shaare zedek’s teams, two patients were given a renewed chance at life. 💪🏼🇮🇱
