In the wake of Hurricane Melissa’s devastation, Israel’s Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Health have sent 40 dedicated Israeli medical professionals to St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, to bring healing, hope, and hands-on care to those who need it most.

This lifesaving mission is led by Professor Ofer Merin, Director General of Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, whose global leadership in disaster medicine continues to inspire us all.

The lay and professional teams of The Canadian Shaare Zedek Hospital Foundation are deeply proud to see our hospital family once again standing at the forefront of compassion, uniting nations in the shared mission to save lives.
