This week at Yonge Sheppard Animal Hospital, we’ve created an ofrenda to remember the pets who have filled our lives with love. Inspired by the Día de los Mu***os tradition, it’s a space to celebrate their memory with warmth and gratitude.

The ofrenda will be up all week, and we welcome anyone who wishes to take part. You’re invited to add a photo, a message, or the name of a pet who touched your life.

Happy RVT Month to our wonderful Rosie! Rosie has been with us since the very early days of Yonge Sheppard Animal Hospital, sharing in all the highs and lows that have shaped who we are today. Her compassion, skill, and sense of humour make every day brighter — for both our team and our patients.
At home, Rosie is mom to Jimmy and Ollie — and fun fact: Jimmy is a proud tripod kitty who hasn’t let life on three legs slow him down one bit!

October is Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) Month! We’re proud to introduce our newest RVT Olivia! Olivia has been a part of our team for some time now but this past year, graduated from the vet tech program at Georgian College and passed her VTNE licensing exam - all while still working full time! Olivia has worked with animals big and small practically her entire life helping out at her family’s horse farm north of Toronto. Please say hello and congratulations to Olivia when you see her at the clinic - she’ll be especially happy if you laugh at her jokes.🤣

Moving into our new Yonge Sheppard Animal Hospital space was admittedly a lot of work — months of planning, designing, and building. But now, watching our patients explore, purr, and wag their tails here, it already feels like home.

We wanted the space to be modern, calm, and welcoming — but most importantly, to be filled with the pets we love and the families we’re so grateful to care for. Seeing you all here makes every step worth it. ❤️
