Good morning, Toronto! Time to practice!

The mind is a wonderful, powerful thing. These past 2 weeks in Mexico have been healing. I haven’t taken a solo trip in over a decade. Something I did on the regular when I was a full time yoga teacher.

Every year, I would work my ass off for 9 months and take 3 months off to travel to India to practice, to learn, to rest, to be alone and in community.

When I got here, it took me way longer than I expected to settle, to get into a groove. Bc even though I spend most of my time at home alone in a booth these days, I’m constantly “on”. So to turn the dial “down” was challenging!

But once I did… oh my! That’s when the magic happened! That’s when GRATITUDE took over. And instead of trying to FIND whatever I was looking for, I started to focus on what IS. And how beautiful my life ALREADY is.

I’m in Mexico! At a house at the beach!

I built a “booth” so I could work if I want to and then spend the rest of the day at the beach if I want to (it was too windy to do that but I COULD have).

I’ve made a massive dent in the online courses I promised myself I would start. I’m almost finished one! One more module to go!

I’m putting the final touches on a Summer yoga retreat in Quebec City July 10-12. RSVP link in my Linktree in bio.

I’ve practiced yoga every day.

I’m building a 7 day destination yoga retreat for this coming winter.

I’ve started coaching again in VO

And most importantly I’ve reconnected with my spark! Hello Spark ⚡️ I’ve missed you!

How? By allowing myself the space to be uncomfortable. By allowing myself to ask questions of myself and others. By following through on promises to myself. And by being grateful for what I already have! Because my life is pretty epic. And I better start behaving like it is!

Tracy has already started Led Primary with all you beautiful people in Toronto.

I’ll be back to teach starting with Hot Flow at on Wednesday, April 29 at 7pm, Mysore at MTO on Saturday, May 2 at 7am, and later that day I’ll be back at Modo for another Flow at 3pm.

See you on the mat 🧘🏼‍♀️

Two weeks I put something out there.

A question, really. About a retreat. Small group, somewhere warm - yoga, meditation, and honest conversation about our career paths.

I didn’t expect the DMs.

People from Canada, the US, the UK - telling me they’re tired. That they’re still good at what they do, still love it, but something’s gone quiet. That they’ve been waiting for something that isn’t another course or another coaching package.

That landed.

So, I’m making this real.

We’re starting in historic Quebec City July 10-12, 2026 at an actual Monastary! I’ll be announcing the full details for this in the next few days.

Next, a small destination retreat - 8 people maximum - designed for folks who want to come back to themselves as much as they want to come back to their career. I’ve been visiting retreat centres here in Mexico and think I have found THE ONE.

Details are still coming together. But if you want to be the first to know - and to have first access - the list is open: https://forms.gle/LTRKTcebudDVegMS9 (link in story)

This is for the ones who are ready.

Good morning, Toronto! Time to practice!

Actually, I’m 2hrs behind all y’all so you’re probably finished by now and having breakfast…

I’ve run away to Mexico to do some soul searching. My trip to Bali reignited the fire in my gypsy soul and I’m following that muse.

It’s the first solo trip I’ve taken in over a decade! And already I’m learning a ton about myself.

My body doesn’t move the way it once did.

It’s bigger, stiffer, and worn down. But it’s still grounding to step onto my mat and find new ways to move this 51yr old body.

I love getting up before sunrise.

There’s something magical about that time of day. I take time to write in my journal, meditate, and sip my coffee as the sky lightens.

I NEED to be outside!

I’m feeling cooped up here as the winds as crazy for most of the day (25-30mph) which is great if you’re a kite surfer! Not great if your dosha has strong vata tendencies 😳 So I’m building forts in corners of the outdoor spaces to escape the wind.

It’s definitely taken me longer to settle in than I expected. But starting each day by getting up early, taking the time to be on my mat, walking the beach before the winds get too strong is helping me to do what I can here to do.

Like working to confirm this summers yoga retreat details MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR JULY 10-12 in Quebec City! And visiting possible spots here for a winter retreat!

Details coming soon…

Until then, see you on the mat 🧘🏼‍♀️

Shout out to Tracy for holding down the fort at Mysore TO while I’m away!

Good morning, Toronto! Time to practice!

I was having dinner with a friend last night and this topic came up. It’s a lesson I learned a long time ago. And once learned, it is so liberating!

No one is thinking about you as much as YOU think about you.

AND THAT’S OK

Sometimes we get so wrapped up in the “but what will they think?” that we stop ourselves. We stop ourselves from doing, from being, from growing, from changing. All to accommodate what “others” will think.

STOP IT

Do the thing. Do it become YOU want to. Because it makes sense to YOU. The “others” just want you to be happy.

Stop waiting for permission.

Do it now.

Start with yoga! Mysore starts at 7am in person and online at 1768 Danforth Ave. See you on the mat 🧘🏼‍♀️

Good morning, Toronto! Time to practice!

A meme on social media. The title of a book left on a beach chair. A comment caught in passing at the coffee shop. A line in a song…

None of them intentionally put in your awareness and yet feel divinely placed. Making an impact more significant than any teacher or mentor could.

These are the things we call magic 🦋

Gabby Bernstein calls them “driftwood”… signs from beyond that guide us if we let them.

I had dinner with a friend who told me about one of these magical moments. The joy seeped out of them as they expressed how it has made them feel. It was beautiful to witness. And a reminder that even hard held beliefs can be changed in an instant at the right moment. “Right time right place.”

And sometimes that moment happens on the mat.

Wanna find some magic? Doors open for Mysore at 7am at 1768 Danforth Ave. See you on the mat! 🧘🏼‍♀️

Good morning Toronto! Time to practice!

This hit…

I’ve been implementing time blocking into my schedule. Like REALLY time blocking. Phone on “do not disturb” and in a different room while I handle a very specific task on my “to do” list.

To say there are WAY more hours in the day than we think there are… holy crap!

I tend to be reactive. Ask anyone I know how long it takes me to reply to a text or email and they will more likely say “pretty much immediately”. And I’ve lived by that, believing, “if I don’t respond immediately I’ll forget”.

But that’s just a story I’ve been telling myself that’s connected to my anxious attachment.

This week while practicing time blocking, I’ve gotten an insane amount done. And guess what? I’ve also managed to answer every text and email as well! But instead of immediately, I’ve answered during my “breaks” (cuz not every moment can be busy…

So I wanna know… What stories are you telling yourself to fit a narrative? Is the narrative even your own?

Aries season is a time of massive change, if you allow it. What can you change about your story simply by changing the script?

Wanna try with yoga? 7:30am Led Primary in person and online at 1768 Danforth Ave.

And next month I’m offering the class for FREE! Stay tuned for details!

Until then, see you on the mat 🧘🏼‍♀️

Good morning, Toronto! Time to practice!

It’s been a WEEK! From getting into a car accident (I’m fine - the car, not so much), to having to fire yet ANOTHER incompetent virtual assistant, to making huge changes to my evening and morning routines (I had committed to the changes before the rest of the s**t so I HAD to stick to them… never make a promise to yourself you can’t keep), to say I am so ready for a full day of yoga is putting it mildly.

Trying to focus on gratitude and finding the good stuff when the rest of my world is in chaos has been challenging. But it’s always there, waiting patiently to be recognized and acknowledged.

I’m being pushed into a change. I’m not sure yet what it is, but it’s there… also waiting to be recognized and acknowledged.

Radical transformation.

Let’s start with yoga.

Good morning, Toronto! Time to practice!

“Everything is working out for me.” (Even when it feels like it isn’t”)

This is my mantra for 2026. I catch myself singing it to the tune of “Dancing through Life” from Wicked 🤣

While I was in Bali I started reading one of Dean Graziosi’s book “Millionaire Success Habits”. In one of the chapters he shares a story about having a goal but things moving off course. And he asks “what if things are actually going the way they’re supposed to? What if the way you’re going isn’t the right destination to meet your goal? What if instead you follow where you’re being pulled?” (I paraphrase…)

Now I’m not taking about having a goal to go to the gym and feeling pulled to sit on the couch 😝 I’m talking about following the muse.

I had a friend who went to see a famous psychic. The psychic told her she would make her mark doing something with “hair strokes”. She was learning to perfect balayage at the time (she was a hairdresser) so she put all her energy into that. But slowly the passion to do that stared to fade. No matter what she did she couldn’t reignite the flame. Things felt like they were falling apart! She was being pulled into permanent makeup and microblading where she felt joy again. Then it hit her - “hair strokes” wasn’t actual hair. It was the image the psychic had seen. It was microblading! Long story short, she is now one of the most sought after permanent makeup artists in the world.

Follow the muse.

I’m going to follow it to yoga! Wanna come?

Good morning, Toronto! Time to practice!

GRATITUDE.

It’s the most powerful mindset shift ever. And it can be one of the most difficult ones to make a daily practice.

Try this with me this week. When you wake up, before you do ANYTHING else, thank the Universe for waking up. Start there. Then take a moment to really FEEL the feeling of gratitude. Allow yourself to smile, to feel the warm fuzzies that gratitude brings with it, give yourself a hug, and say out loud “Thank you.” Then as you move through your morning continue to say Thank you when you have that first sip of coffee (or tea), to the hot water in your shower, for the safety of your home, for the movement of your body, for the food on your plate. For your partner, your kids, your fur babies… let your gratitude grow and expand training your brain to look for the GOOD throughout your day until eventually the good outweighs the bad.

Sometimes we get so wrapped up in what is going wrong in our lives that we take for granted how much is going RIGHT! I’m not saying life can be hard… it is! But if we focus on the good stuff, more good stuff happens.

So try this with me for the next 7 days. Then come back to me and let me know what happened. I’m going to start with yoga after a nice hot shower and a hot cup of coffee. Yum!

Good morning Toronto! Time to practice!

Continuing with the idea of surrounding yourself with people who support you… BE that person to others as well!

It doesn’t cost anything to be nice. To put a smile on someone’s face with an act of kindness.

Saying hello to the person passing you on the street.

Holding the door open for the person behind you.

Seemingly small acts that make a big impact. That create a ripple in the energy… it’s wild how far that ripple can go! And how much YOU can be positively affected!

So today (and everyday) be the reason someone smiles. We need it!

I’m going to start with yoga!

Good morning, Toronto! Time to practice!

A VO friend of mine posted a recent purchase of art by and shared that with each piece comes a typed note of wisdom. I had to share this one.

The people you surround yourself with regularly are the ones who will have the most influence on you.

Surround yourself with people who bring out the worst in you, who don believe in your potential and you’ll probably never live up to it.

Surround yourself with those who bring out the best in you, who believe in you and your potential and you’ll more than likely live up to it and more!

Be cautious who you share energy with. It’s contagious!

This morning, I choose to spend time with my yoga students. Wanna join us? They’re an awesome group of humans!

Good morning, Toronto! Time to practice!

This is my Mission Statement for 2026 🤣

While I was away (yes I will be talking about this a LOT) I realized a lotta things. One of the things I realized was that I was running myself into the ground doing things I didn’t particularly like which also brought no real value to my life.

Not leaving the house.
Working 7 days a week.
Working past 10pm most nights.
Not planning my meals.
Skipping workouts or yoga.
Messing with my sleep schedule.
Cancelling plans with friends.

All to “get more work done”.

The irony of the entire situation is that 2025 was one of the worse financial years I’ve had since 2016. I was WORKING! But the money wasn’t flowing. It was a grind with no reward.

So I stopped. Bali was a reset.

I’ve been back for 3 weeks and I can feel myself falling back into the same unhealthy habits that burnt me out in 2025.

And so I’m stopping. Just for day. To reset. Monday is a holiday for most of us here in North America. I’m taking the day off completely. Sleep, yoga, meditation, homemade food, and rest.

Wanna join me?
