Why you can feel worse after doing “healthy things”

1.If “healthy” habit makes you feel worse or overwhelmed, it doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong.

2.It usually means: your body is not ready for that type of input right now.

Because timing matters.
Your system capacity matters.
Your state matters.
Even the season matters

3.Any “healthy” tool is not automatically medicine. In the wrong moment, even something good can feel like pressure or frustration.

This is why copying routines from the internet often fails.

The question isn’y:
“Is it healthy?”
The question is:
“Is it right for me at this moment?”

What “healthy thing” was it for you?

Do you feel this: tight chest, neck tension, rounded shoulders?

Try this 1-minute wall reset.
Keep ribs soft, neck long, and take 5 slow breaths each side.
Tell me where you feel it most:
chest / front shoulders / neck / upper back.

You can’t be bad at yoga.

Flexibility, calm, steady mind, discipline, confidence are not prerequisites, they are byproducts of yoga practice.

Yoga is not a performance for certain bodies or quiet minds with “good vibes only”.

If your mind wanders — you’re practicing.
If your body resists — you’re practicing.
If you modify, pause, or do less — you’re still practicing.
If you practice 20 mins — you are still practicing (small things make a big difference).

Yoga is a tool of listening before forcing, of observing and noticing.

What’s your biggest hesitation about yoga — flexibility, age, confidence, or something else?

Neck mobility and tone influence breathing mechanics, jaw tension, and shoulder load.
When the neck is restricted, breathing often becomes more shallow and the shoulders overwork.

So get some release, enjoy 😘

Yoga isn’t automatically healing.

Not all yoga suits you — not in every season of your life, and not in every state of your nervous system.

With so many styles out there, it’s easy to rely on trends, class descriptions, or habit. But the body doesn’t care what’s popular. It cares what it can digest.

If you’re already overstimulated, anxious, or running on adrenaline, more heat + intensity + “push through” can keep you in fight-or-flight. You leave feeling “accomplished,” for sure — but not necessarily regulated.

And if you’re depleted, heavy, or low on energy, only downshifting can sometimes keep you there too — because your system might actually need gentle activation, rhythm, or strength.

And sometimes the choice isn’t even about the body — it’s about what we’re trying not to feel. So we use practice to “cope” (I’ve been there).

It’s about a match between the practice and your state. The most effective practice is the one that shifts you toward balance.

Have you ever chosen a practice that made you feel more unbalanced — even though it was “supposed” to help?

Sometimes we are seeking for something… and this something is not a place or a thing, but a state.

A state of silence where you can hear yourself.
A state of stillness and safety where you can finally exhale.
A feeling that you are taken care of.

My banya retreat is all about this.
It’s a safe space - a small circle of women, a ritual with intention that helps the mind and body to soften and let go.

What are you craving most right now: silence, being taken care of, quiet rest?

Ayurveda Friday 🌿

In cold weather, the body often feels:
“too dry + tense”, “too heavy + tired” or all at once.
One of the ways to support yourself in cold season is obviously creating warmth 😜 not only out but inside the body as well.

-choose warm food and drinks
-add spices
-eat regularly (better one & same time)
-avoid cold, dry & raw foods

Warmth as care, rhythm and nourishment.

5 minutes foot mobility

I could rant about foot mobility and how it affects posture for 40 minutes…
but I’ll save your time keep it simple 😄
1.Your feet are your foundation.
2.Stiffer feet often = more work for knees / hips / back / even upper body.

So couple of simple ways to get your 👣 moving and give them some 💕

✨ Sacred Fire · December Sauna Retreats ✨

The New Year is close. Before it arrives, pause and ask yourself: What am I carrying that feels heavy? What actually wants to begin?

These are questions best answered through the body — not through thinking, planning, or pushing. That’s why I am offering Sacred fire sauna retreats. The warmth of the sauna wraps the body, softens hidden tension, deepens the breath, and quiets the mind. And clarity shows up — naturally, without effort.

Two circles. Two grounding moments before the year turns.
Full Moon (December 4). Let go of what’s finished.
New Moon (December 21). Name what’s forming inside you and choose the direction that feels true.

If the new year calls for a cleaner, clearer start, this is your space.
