Completing your taxes may help you access refunds, benefits, and credit payments you’re entitled to.

If you have a lower income and a simple tax situation, you may be able to use the CRA’s SimpleFile service to file your taxes for free – even without an invitation.

Looking for engaging programs to help your child build confidence, independence and important life skills this spring?

Lumenus Autism Services is offering a variety of supportive programs from April–June 2026 at our Etobicoke and North York locations.

Programs include:

Kitchen Basics – build practical kitchen and safety skills

Individualized ABA Therapy & Group ABA Therapy – personalized and group-based supports to help children learn and grow

Conversation Essentials – develop confidence, communication and relationship-building skills

Our programs provide a supportive environment where children and youth can learn, practice new skills and build confidence alongside peers.

In honour of Autism Awareness, our Autism Services team is celebrating inclusion and community with a special giveaway.

Lumenus is seeking volunteers to join the Live-In (Residential) Placement and Advisory Committee (RPAC). RPAC plays an important role in reviewing residential placements, strengthening safeguards, and helping ensure each child and youth’s unique needs are met.

Hello friends, do you have a musical instrument you would like to donate?

We are collecting instrument donations to support programs and workshops at The Studio.

The Studio is a free, inclusive drop-in centre for youth aged 12–26. It celebrates 2SLGBTQ+ youth and youth of colour and provides a safe space to build community, access support, express creativity, and have fun.

Black history is Canadian history.

This month, we recognize leaders who helped shape our country:

Viola Desmond, who challenged racial segregation in Nova Scotia in 1946.

Lincoln Alexander, Ontario’s first Black Lieutenant Governor.

Jean Augustine, who championed Black History Month in Canada.

Their leadership reminds us that change happens through courage, advocacy, and sustained effort.

Action item: Learn about a Black Canadian leader you may not know – and share their story.
