Please note that walk-in appointments are available to Malvern Medical Centre patients only.

Walk-ins are limited to each doctor’s own rostered patients. Patients who are not registered with Malvern Medical Centre or who are not patients of the listed doctor will not be seen during walk-in hours.

⏰ After-Hours Care
Our regular after-hours care remains available for all Malvern Medical Centre patients on the following dates:

📅 December 29 & December 30: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
❌ December 31: No after-hours care
📅 January 1: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Departure announcement: Dr Shihani Thillaivasan

We are writing to inform you that Dr. Shihani Thillaivasan will be leaving her practice at Malvern Medical Centre as of August 31, 2025, to pursue new professional opportunities.

While we are very sad to see Dr. Thillaivasan go, we are incredibly grateful for the compassionate care she has provided to her patients and the community. She will be deeply missed.

Please rest assured that your medical records will remain securely on file at Malvern Medical Centre, and you will continue to have access to ongoing care.

In the coming months, we will be welcoming a new female family physician, expected to join our team within the next six months. In the interim, locum physicians will be available to provide continuity of care for Dr. Thillaivasan’s patients.

You may continue to use our online booking portal or call the clinic as usual to schedule appointments during this transition period.

Should you choose to transfer your care to another provider, we can provide a copy of your medical records upon receiving written consent. Please note that an administrative fee may apply for the preparation and transfer of these records.
