Check out our new parent and caregiver resource, Understanding Gender, Sexuality, and Expression, which includes practical guidance on how to navigate conversations about coming out.

These tips were created by 2SLGBTQIA+ youth from The New Mentality’s Rainbow Connections program who shared what meaningful support looks like to them.

Every journey carries invisible weight, especially for families rebuilding their lives after a crisis. 💚

This year’s World Mental Health Day campaign emphasizes the importance of supporting individuals affected by humanitarian emergencies. Conflicts, disasters, and health emergencies take a heavy toll on mental health, and many young people carry this trauma in places where mental health care is often out of reach.

CMHO continues to advocate for systems that protect not just safety but also healing. Share this to remind others that the well-being of every infant, child, youth, and family matters.

The New Mentality and Children’s Mental Health Ontario’s Youth Action Committee (YAC) platforms youth who work to reduce stigma and improve mental health services for children and youth through youth-led policy recommendations. As part of our focus on youth engagement, we have released a survey to hear the experiences of youth ages 13-25.

Our hope with this survey is to assess the quality of youth engagement and barriers within the Child and Youth Mental health Sector across Ontario.

As a token of our appreciation, you will be entered into a raffle for one of three $50 gift cards. 💯
