This is a written creative visualization. I am gifting it to everyone especially all us Yidden, Jews, celebrating Pesach, Passover this year.

Please allow yourself to pretend, visualize vividly, see the pictures or whatever way is natural for you. Breathe deeply and then exhale and breathe naturally as you read.. Allow yourself to feel comfort, a sense of curiosity, and the feeling of relaxation drifting down you from head to foot... Take a rest of the nervous system for these few minutes.. You deserve it..

This visualization is based on a talk I heard by Manis Freidman on Youtube.

Please read this at a moment when you are free from operating mechanical equipment. Give yourself the gift of relaxation as you read.

Allow your eyes to rest on the words...

Take a deep breath and see yourself as a hostess in the shtetel of old Europe... well before the war. Most people were poor of physical means.

Someone who loves you very very much is coming to see you. You are waiting expectantly. It doesn't matter that you don't have much food or beautiful, opulent surroundings. this person is coming to see YOU, You exclusively.

They want to spend time with you .. what you eat, or don't eat, what you are wearing nothing matters to them just your intrinsic presence. You have been preparing for them to the best of your ability.

The guest comes through the door delight in their eyes. They have waited so long to see you! You, jump up delighted, awed by this moment you have waited for ... for so long! Feel that sense of awe and tremendous joy at your guest's presence in your home at your table.

Imagine how you feel in their presence. Uplifted they are ONLY interested in you and being with you.

The talk you have is not as important in its words as it is in its' feelings of closeness and endearment. You are safe cared about and feel so special. Everything is just the way you imagined.

Now imagine if this special person is actually the KING OF KINGS. Why the whole 'town' has been turned on its head preparing for the King's arrival... And yet, the King comes right to YOU HIS dearest closest friend... He has been missing you for so long...

Hashem awaiting us, He doesn't care if we are dirty from the galus... He cannot wait to see us... He cannot wait to have US in HIS presence.

He wants US WE want Hashem - Feel the relief of finally meeting 'face to face' with someone who loves us so deeply is completely CRAZY about us and is so invested in our good.

Feel the delight and safety of the moment. You are about to have a ONE on ONE meeting with Hashem in your personal abode/home on Pesach, Passover. Just you, You and Hashem...

Allow yourself to look forward to that moment- three whole days of delight in HIS presence! He is looking for you, your essence, not your stuff, not your clothes, bank account or property holdings, not your social skills, not your glib just YOU the quintessential YOU.

You and Hashem, G-d, together basking in the glow of HIS Brilliance, Zeive Hasheina!

Imagine that we can ignore the events, and fears of the day while being mindful, compliant of the rules and safety structures set up in our communities and within our homes. We can look forward expectantly, excitedly, joyously, to our upcoming meeting with Hashem, G-d.

Take a deep breath and continue preparing and repairing your inner self during this time. Our meeting is still more than 24 hours away depending where in the world you are when you read this. ... Allow any negative states to dissipate.

Fill your being with excitement and joy...

Take a deep cleansing breath and get back to reality with our new found attitude prominent in our minds and hearts...

Prone to tiredness? A Poem

Allen and Abigal Van Buren went to bed. Allen fell asleep
Abigale tossed and turned instead

Canadian statistics for sleep deprivation are staggering. One out of every 3 adults don’t sleep and students are worse as only one out of every TWO students sleep. ( https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/publications/healthy-living/canadian-adults-getting-enough-sleep-infographic.html)

American Statistics are about the same. 35% of adults don’t get enough sleep (7 hours per night) Teenage sleep-lack rates are 20%. (Fortune Magazine)

Abigale went downstairs to get a drink. Allen started snoring sonorously! Abigale’s poor heart began to sink.

Causes of sleep deprivation are many.

• A sedentary lifestyle- we just aren’t that tired because we aren’t moving enough during the day.
• Chronic stress plays a significant role in lack of sleep and in a vicious cycle of sleep deprivation that causes the very stress that feeds into the lack of sleep.
• Medical disorders like sleep apnea, and others (https://www.sleephealth.org/sleep-health/the-state-of-sleephealth-in-america/)
• Lifestyle Choices: We party when we should be sleeping whether through night life, or the internet and now cell phones etc.

Abigale decided to sleep on the couch. *Sigh* UNCOMFORTABLE!
Though Allen’s snoring wasn’t as loud.

Sleep deprivation causes
*dangerous driving, falling asleep at the wheel
*Human errors at work
*Workplace accidents
*irritability, anger management issues
* Health erosion

Finally so tired she thought she would collapse, the snores didn’t matter somehow. Abigale went to bed, fell asleep at last.
