This is and it’s all about empathy. According to the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), empathy is the capacity we share as human beings to step into each other’s shoes. To understand where they’re coming from and what they’re feeling.

Empathy can help us know ourselves and our own feelings. It can help us lead, communicate, support and connect with others.

The CMHA also reports that people with chronic physical conditions experience depression and anxiety at twice the rate of the general population.

If you’re dealing with chronic pain, as well as mental health issues, a chiropractor can help with pain management as part of your circle of care.
