From chaos to clarity. 🌿
The first few sessions can feel nerve-wracking—will I say the right thing? What if I cry? What if I don’t cry?

But here’s what our clients often share:
They didn’t need to have it all figured out.
They just needed someone to hold space.
And little by little, things started making sense.

If you’re feeling unsure but curious about therapy, this is your sign that it’s okay to begin before you feel ready.

Someone once commented on one of our posts: “Virtual therapy is a scam.”

It wasn’t the first time we’d heard it — and it likely won’t be the last.

But instead of dismissing it, we want to hold space for where that skepticism might come from. Because if you’ve never experienced virtual therapy, it can be hard to believe it “works.”

And yet, after supporting hundreds of people virtually — here’s what we’ve seen:

✨ Deep connection.
✨ Real breakthroughs.
✨ Safe, lasting change.

Sometimes in a car. Sometimes with a baby on your chest. Sometimes between meetings. Always with care.

If you’re still unsure — that’s okay.
Ask us your questions. Explore your doubts. We’re here to talk about it, not sell it.

No one really talks about how your body changes during pregnancy…and how it can feel when it doesn’t snap back the way you hoped.

I gained 65 lbs in my last pregnancy. I had back pain, swelling, and stretch marks in places I didn’t know could stretch. I didn’t recognize myself. And once the bump was gone, the shame got louder.

This post is for anyone who’s ever looked in the mirror during or after pregnancy and felt grief. You’re not alone, and you’re not broken.

Swipe through to hear how I’ve been processing the changes, reframing my body image, and learning to meet myself with more compassion this time around. ❤️‍🩹

✨ Meet Armaan – Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) at Abode Wellness Collective ✨

Armaan became a therapist because he’s been there. He knows what it’s like to feel overwhelmed, unsure, and stuck—and he’s passionate about helping others find their way forward.

With a background in mental health nursing and his own lived experience, Armaan brings both clinical knowledge and deep empathy into every session. His style is warm, curious, and grounded in respect for your story—no pressure to have it all figured out.

He believes healing isn’t linear, and just because things feel hard doesn’t mean you’re broken. Armaan creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are and feel truly seen.

If you’re navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, or just want a space to reconnect with yourself, Armaan is here to walk alongside you.

We’re taught to be strong, keep it moving, and not make a big deal out of hard things. Life’s tough—get with the program, right?

Sure, some acceptance helps.

But when we never make space to actually feel what’s hard, that strength becomes performance. And the cost of that performance is often our emotional well-being. Which ofcourse, will then affect your performance because you’re spending so much energy just holding it together and keeping up appearances.

It’s okay to not be okay, and it’s okay to stop pretending.

✨ Your healing doesn’t start with perfection. It starts with honesty.

Sometimes the most powerful work is unlearning who we think we need to be.

This book, The Courage to Be Disliked, is one of those reads that stops you in your tracks. A few gems:
➡️ You are not your past.
➡️ True freedom is being disliked and still staying true to yourself.
➡️ Your value is not tied to being “useful” to everyone.

This one’s a must-read if you’re untangling people-pleasing, perfectionism, or that exhausting need to be understood all the time. Let this be your reminder: you don’t need to explain your healing to anyone.

Your worth is not up for debate.

Ever felt restless but exhausted at the same time? Overthinking everything while also feeling numb? You’re not alone. Depression and anxiety often show up together, making it confusing to tell them apart.

‼️This post is a VERY simplified explanation of the differences between the two— mental health isn’t always this black and white. You can experience both at the same time, and symptoms often overlap. The key is understanding how they show up for you and what support you need.

Your brain is what you eat. 🍽️🧠

If your mental health has been feeling off, your nutrition might have something to do with it. We love talking about self-care, but are we actually fueling our minds the way they need? 🤔

Swipe through to see 5 reasons why nutrition matters for your mental health—because self care and therapy will only take you so far if you’re not nourished in the right ways. ✨
