This is our friend Bullet! 🐾

We’re not saying he was ready to clock in… but he did try to stay behind the desk 👀💼

Between his eagerness to taste-test the clinic treats, those incredibly intelligent eyes, and his fearless determination to walk straight into the vet clinic every time he passes by, Bullet is clearly front-desk material.

Safe to say, he made himself right at home at the hospital.

Would you trust him to run the front desk? We would 😉

🐰🌸Easter Reminder for Pet Parents 🐰

As we celebrate the Easter season, please remember that chocolate and sweets can be very dangerous for our furry friends. Even small amounts of chocolate can cause serious health issues in dogs, including vomiting, restlessness, rapid heart rate, and in severe cases, seizures.

Keep all Easter treats safely out of reach and remind guests (especially little ones!) not to share sweets with pets.

Instead of chocolate treats, try dog-safe goodies like carrots, apple slices, or special pet treats. You can even set up a mini “egg hunt” with their favorite snacks or toys for some extra fun!

If you suspect your dog has eaten chocolate, contact your veterinarian right away.

Let’s keep Easter safe, happy, and tail-wagging for everyone! 🐾💛

🐾 FOUND DOG! 🐾

This sweet little boy was found this afternoon around The Stockyards (St. Clair area). He’s a tan Pomeranian, male, and unfortunately does not have a microchip.

He’s safe right now, but we would really love to help him find his way back home to his family. 💛

If you recognize him or have any information that might help us locate his owners, please call us at 416-762-5558.

Please feel free to share so we can reunite this little guy with his people! 🐶🏡

Spring Is Here… and So Are the Unwanted Guests!
Warmer weather means more walks, park adventures, and backyard zoomies for your dogs. But it also means ticks, fleas… and mosquitoes are back in action.
These tiny freeloaders don’t just cause itching — they can also carry diseases and lead to skin infections, allergies, and other health issues for your pup.

Why prevention matters:
• 🐜 Fleas can cause intense itching, skin infections, and allergic reactions.
• 🕷️ Ticks can transmit dangerous diseases such as Lyme disease.
• 🩺 Infestations can lead to anemia, infections, and discomfort for your pet.
•🦟 Mosquitoes can transmit heartworm disease, a serious and potentially life-threatening condition that affects the heart and lungs of dogs
• 🏡 Fleas can quickly spread in your home, making them difficult to eliminate.

How to protect your dog this season:
✔️ Use veterinarian-recommended flea, tick, and heartworm prevention
✔️ Check your dog’s coat after walks, hikes, or time in tall grass
✔️ Keep your yard tidy and reduce standing water where mosquitoes breed
✔️ Stay consistent with monthly prevention
