This year, my mom and I will be participating in the CIBC Run for the Cure. As a daughter and granddaughter of breast cancer survivors, supporting research to help change the future of breast cancer is extremely important to me. Any donation, no matter the size, or sharing this link would mean a lot to me and the roughly 28,000 people who are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Canada. Thank you!

Donate to support me in the Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure!

I’m excited to be opening additional spots for students in the fall! If you or someone you know is looking to learn to sing or play violin from scratch or continue to build upon existing skills, I'd love to hear from you. I am also offering adapted lessons, which use music and the structure of a private lesson to work on non-musical goals. Learn more at www.emmaburkekleinman.com and please feel free to reach out with any questions or share this with anyone who wants to make music!

Hi friends! I’ve been facilitating and participating in the Re:Vision collective over the last two months and tomorrow night a section of my play-in-progress “In The Stars” is going to be read by my lovely pals Olivia, Jennifer, and Alexa! The evening also features a reading of my dear michael (lilac)’s new piece, “Queerority”. The two shows could not be more different so it is sure to be an engaging night!

The readings are geared towards receiving feedback so if you are interested in hearing new works read and sharing your thoughts, I’d love to invite you to join! You can message me for the link or register at the link in ’ bio. 🤍

Join us on February 18th at 6pm EST for ‘A Period Piece’ By Emunah Freida & Dramaturge Germaine Konji. Email artistsinresidence2020@gmail.com for the Zoom link.
About A Period Piece: Although the cycle repeats, the emotional connection to a period over a lifetime changes. A Period Piece is a collaborative ensemble piece that examines the question of what it means to menstruate and how that isn’t synonymous with womanhood. It's a coming-of-age tale from the first period to last.
