When I started my Passion planner in January 2017, the main goal I set for myself was to bring Beyond Addiction, the yogic way of recovery to my hometown of Budapest in September 2018. Step one - become a Kundalini Yoga teacher, step 2 - become a BA trainer. During those steps that were happening simultaneously, translate the 600 + page manual. Yesterday, we had the first day of the program in the beautiful Harmonia Palace next to the National Museum in Budapest with Sat Dharam Kaur and Dr. Gabor Mate. It was a beautiful and powerful start to the 9-day immersion program. The manual is not 100% translated, perhaps about 95%. I learned to accept the "imperfection" of that. It will be done for next time. My heart is overflowing with gratitude and excitement, and the reason I am sharing, because it is a testament to how saying yes, setting an intention, taking small steps and working daily pays off, at ANY age. Dream big, start small, focus on the process, accept setbacks recover fast and learn that imperfection is part of humanity, ask for help, accept help, manifest the inherent power that's available, express what you need, learn to say no, remain focused and committed. These are the main things I've learned on this journey and what helped get to the fruition of this dream. Of course there are many collaborators on this project without whom it would not have been possible. I will share about those in another post.
Dr. Gabor Maté teaching the Beyond Addiction program in Budapest with Kata Kalman, the translator. It was an awesome day.
