★ According to the lunar calendar, we’ve entered WINTER as of November 7, 2025 — the most YIN season of the year.

In Traditional Eastern Medicine, winter corresponds to the Water element, which relates to the Kidney and Bladder systems.

When Kidney function becomes imbalanced or depleted, you may notice symptoms like fatigue, feeling cold, low back or knee weakness, and emotional changes — all of which can become more noticeable as the weather turns cold.

★How to support your body as winter approaches:

• Keep your lower back and feet warm — protect your Kidney energy from the cold.
• Rest more and sleep earlier to preserve energy.
• Eat warming, nourishing foods such as soups, bone broth, black beans, walnuts, and root vegetables.
• Avoid too much raw or cold food, which can weaken digestion and energy.
• Gentle movement like stretching, yoga, or Qi Gong supports circulation without depleting you.
• Regular acupuncture & moxibustion treatments help strengthen Kidney Qi, balance energy, and support immunity through the cold season.

★ Insight of Eastern philosophy!
Fall is associated to Lungs+ Large Intestine
and also season of Harvest, Reflection, and Letting go

★Here’s how to support your organs this season.
- go to bed earlier (day time is getting shorter)
- Eat foods like pumpkin, squash, pears, daikon
- Focus on breathing through your NOSE - not with your mouth!
- Stay hydrated (Lung hates dryness!)
- Grief: allow space to feel and release

Care doesn’t stop when the session ends.

Every point needled, every pulse read, every shift supported, it all continues long after you leave the clinic.
Because healing is not just about body -it’s about energy, emotion, and the unseen layers we carry.

From my space to yours, I’m holding that intention for you.
May the work we do together ripple out in all the right ways.

🐝 Honeycomb in TCM Perspective:

1. Clears Heat & Relieves Toxicity (清热解毒 / 열을 식히고 독을 푼다):
Used to reduce inflammation and treat sore throats, ulcers, or infections — often linked with excess “Heat” in the body.

2. Soothes Cough & Moistens the Lungs (润肺止咳 / 폐를 촉촉하게 하고 기침을 멈춘다):
Honeycomb is sometimes used in herbal formulas for dry cough, especially chronic or yin-deficiency types.

3. Promotes Wound Healing (生肌止痛 / 살을 돋게 하고 통증을 멎게 한다):
Applied topically to burns, ulcers, or skin infections — thanks to its natural antibacterial properties (especially if propolis is present).

4. Harmonizes the Stomach & Relieves Pain (调和脾胃 / 비위 기능을 조화롭게 한다):
Helps soothe digestive discomfort or gastritis, particularly when raw honey is included.

5. Enhances Qi (补中益气 / 기운을 북돋는다):
It’s mildly tonifying — supports overall energy and vitality, especially in cases of fatigue or qi deficiency.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), honeycomb (蜂巢, fēng cháo) and honey (fēng mì, 蜂蜜) are both valued — though honey is more commonly used. That said, honeycomb itself does have some specific TCM uses, especially when it’s raw and includes beeswax and propolis.

There are three days considered the hottest of the year in Korea — it’s called Sambok (삼복 | 三伏), based on the lunar calendar.

These days are:
• Chobok (초복 | 初伏)– the first hot day
• Jungbok (중복 | 中伏)– the middle one
• Malbok (말복 | 末伏)– the last (and often the hottest!)

Collectively, they‘re known as “Sambok”, and during these days, Koreans traditionally eat energizing foods to fight summer fatigue — most famously, Samgyetang, a hot ginseng chicken soup 🍲

This reflects the traditional idea of “Iyeolchiyeol” (이열치열 | 以熱治熱) — ”fighting heat with heat“.
It’s more than just food — it’s a cultural ritual to stay healthy and balanced during the year’s most intense heat ☀️

📅 2025 Sambok Dates
• Chobok – July 20
• Jungbok – July 30
• Malbok – August 9

Let’s stay connected.

What if your body is speaking your mind?

Every emotion has a Physical Echo. Anxiety may show up as a racing heart. Anger as a tight chest. Grief in the Lungs. Worry in the Stomach. 💬

Emotional health is Physical health.

Instead of asking “What’s WRONG with me?”
— try asking “What am I FEELING?”

Healing starts when we LISTEN to both the body and the mind.
Save this as a reminder. Share it with someone who needs to hear it. ✨

“Less” is actually harder than “more.”

Less is more takes confidence, clarity, and a grounded mind. It’s one of my life principles — and also one of the hardest to live by.

And this is exactly what Japanese acupuncture shows me, every day. It’s subtle, gentle, and precise — but the impact goes DEEP.The body doesn’t need to be overwhelmed to heal.It just needs the right space, the right signal.

LESS IS MORE — and your body knows it.

The idea of classifying foods by their temperature might sound unusual at first — but in Traditional Chinese Medicine, it’s an incredible ancient wisdom that helps explain how food works internally in our bodies.

It’s not just about hot or cold food like we think in everyday terms. It’s about how these temperatures affect your energy, digestion, and overall balance — something modern science is only beginning to appreciate.

I find it fascinating how this system can guide us to choose the right foods depending on how we feel — whether we’re chilly and low energy or overheated and inflamed.

Swipe through to see which food temperature matches how you feel — and find better balance naturally!

✨ Remember: Too much of any temperature can throw your digestion off, so listen to your body and adjust accordingly.

What temperature do you usually prefer?
