The Institute for Dental Excellence (T.I.D.E.), developed in 2002, provides quality dental continuing education. (T.I.D.E.) T.I.D.E.

Courses progress from didactic learning to hands-on and live patient care. All CE training is nationally approved for Category 2. Committed to providing high-quality, AGD-approved continuing education for dental professionals.

“Train the Brain” - The Toronto Institute for Dental Excellence Inc. was established in 2002 with a mission to deliver exceptional continuing dental education, elevate standards of care in dentistry, and support the professional growth of dental practitioners. offers AGD-approved and RCDSO-approved (Category 2) courses designed for dentists at every stage of their career. As a multidisciplinary, multi-level continuing education provider, our programs span a wide range of clinical disciplines, including implant dentistry, periodontics, endodontics, therapeutic botulinum toxin (Botox) training, and comprehensive clinical care. Our Educational Approach

T.I.D.E.’s educational programs are structured around three progressive waves of learning, allowing participants to choose the pathway that best fits their clinical interests, experience level, schedule, and learning goals:

Wave I – Lecture-Based Education
Didactic programs focused on diagnosis, treatment planning, clinical concepts, and evidence-based decision-making across multiple dental disciplines. Wave II – Hands-On Clinical Training
Practical workshops that emphasize skill development and clinical application through guided hands-on exercises and case-based learning. Wave III – Advanced Clinical Programs with Live Patient Experience
In-depth, multi-session programs that combine lectures, hands-on training, and live patient treatment, providing real-world clinical exposure under expert supervision. This tiered learning model ensures there is something for everyone at T.I.D.E. With no prerequisites required for our courses, our programs remain accessible regardless of experience level, time commitment, or budget.
