This week was a great time to celebrate the last year of hard work with family by my side. Going back to school at after 9 years of practice was actually less of a decision and more of something I knew I needed to do. That doesn’t mean it was easy. Every challenge and obstacle faced was an opportunity to continue to learn and develop in my craft. What a privilege it is to be a life long learner as a physiotherapist 🙌

Special shoutout to my beautiful wife who stood by my side every step of the way. In addition to my 4am morning study sessions, we got our puppy Rosie 🐶, found out we are expected our first baby girl this December, bought our first home and moved, and even hosted a few parties along the way 😅

Needless to say, it’s been quite and eventful year.

What a Chapter 👨‍🎓

After one year devoted to learning through a fantastic program at Western University, I was fortunate enough to get back to clinic today to do what I absolutely love.

With that said, the memories made over the last year will last a lifetime, with people I will never ever forget.

Physio is one amazing ride, and it’s time to buckle up for the next chapter 🙌

🥂 ONE YEAR 🥂

One year ago I had the honour to marry my best friend ; a moment I easily consider my biggest accomplishment in life.

Since that day I’ve been asked so many times what married life feels like, the same theme continues to come up over and over which is a complete sense of Calm. ☺️

Today I find myself reflecting on life to this point and where both Nicole and I are at in our lives. Throughout the last year, I find myself that I am completely at peace, which is a hard thing to find. I can wholeheartedly say that it’s because of who I’m standing beside and how she makes me a better person. Don’t get me wrong, there are some very exciting things planned around the corner: more mountains to climb, and obstacles to overcome both personally and professionally. I embrace those opportunities with open arms but being present and enjoying the journey throughout that process with my partner, family, and friends is truly the most important part. 🙌

With that said, cheers to embracing the laughs, the love, and the endless growth, while cherishing time in the present moment as truly the most valuable thing we have. Tomorrow will come, but today never will again. So let’s make every single moment count, always

Hey Google… Play 2023 on repeat 🥹 🎶
This post certainly does not do the last year justice. These are just a few highlights over the last year, six weddings, four bachelor parties, a couple babies welcomed to the family, and some amazing professional experiences with Myodetox.
Thank you to each and every person who has been a part of the last year with and myself. Your support has been so appreciated as we officially tied the knot this year 🥂❤️
The next year will be another chapter in what I’m blessed to call life. More weddings ( 🇯🇲 let’s goo!) traveling the world, the PATH clinic expansion, and returning to school (UWO) to take the next step in the physiotherapy profession… just to name a few.
There was some well deserved R&R over the holidays, but I’m more than ready more than ever to get back to it and tackle 2024 full force. Let’s go 🚀
