Winter sun? No problem. ☀️❄️

Staying active on the trails while keeping my eyes protected. Sunglasses are a must—they help block UV rays, reduce glare, and keep your vision comfortable.

When skiing, they’re even more important. The brightness from the snow can be intense, and proper eye protection helps prevent snow blindness.

Loving my Canada Goose Sport Sunglasses—they feel super secure with the strap, so I can just focus on enjoying the ride. ⛷️

Who hasn’t heard that photochromic lenses are ugly… or that they’re only for a certain age?

The truth is, glasses help us see better — but they can also be a way to express your personality and your style. Something you wear every day can actually become part of your look.

Photochromic lenses are perfect for both indoors and outdoors. They stay clear inside and darken in the sun, help with light sensitivity, and give you the convenience of carrying just one pair of glasses.

And the best part? They come in colours like brown, green, burgundy, and even blue.
What about you — do you like photochromic lenses? Would you wear them?

A common myth is that glasses make your eyes "lazy."

The truth? They actually stop the constant strain and headaches. It’s not that your eyes are becoming dependent—it’s just that your brain finally knows what clear vision feels like!

Do you know the difference between visual acuity and visual efficiency? 👀

20/20 vision measures how clearly you see — but it doesn’t tell us how well your eyes and brain work together.

If you experience headaches, eye strain, or fatigue with reading or screen time, the issue may not be clarity… it may be how efficiently your visual system is functioning.

A comprehensive eye exam looks at both.

Your lenses go through a lot every day — makeup, dust, fingerprints, temperature changes… and how you clean them makes a big difference 👀

Here’s the right way to care for your glasses and protect your anti-reflective coating:

✔ Rinse your lenses with lukewarm (or cool) water first to remove dust
✔ Use a small drop of mild dish soap to gently remove oils
✔ Dry with a clean microfiber cloth
✔ Use optometrist-approved lens cleaner when you're on the go
✖ Avoid household cleaners, paper towels, or cleaning with your shirt

A few small habits can help your lenses last longer and stay crystal clear ✨

Did you know that watery eyes are actually a common sign of Dry Eye Disease? 💧👁️

Winter weather—cold air, wind, and indoor heating—can really take a toll on your eyes, leading to grittiness, redness, and irritation. This often happens when your oil glands aren’t working quite right.

If you’re experiencing dry eye symptoms — not just in the winter — don’t ignore them. Book a dry eye assessment and get the relief you deserve. 🏥📱

Did you know your eye muscles are the most active muscles in your body?

That’s why giving your eyes regular breaks is so important - especially if you spend long hours on screens.

Try the 20-20-20 rule: every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds.

Your eyes work hard for you. Take care of them.
