Learn Different Summer Typing Programs

This summer Learn Different will be hosting multiple 2 weeks long Summer Typing Programs. Typing is a vital skill, but it can be difficult to learn. This program is designed to help a diverse range of students acquire typing skills that they need. We will help students and families access typing with a combination of instruction and technology.

During our 2-week long program students will:
Learn typing techniques, posture, accuracy, and speed
Have certified teachers instruct using a variety of games, exercises, and technology
Receive clear directions and instant feedback to encourage positive typing habits
Have the opportunity to learn at their own pace through lessons tailored to each student’s specific needs
Receive emotional support to assist with the frustrations often associated with typing
Learn to enjoy typing with interactive, engaging, and fun activities to reinforce learning
Become familiar with software which will allow students to continue their learning at home

At the end of this 2-week long program, the last session will include a complimentary joint session with students and parents. This workshop is optional and intended as an educational component for parents on how to monitor student progress at home following the typing program.

PROGRAM COST: $175 for the 2-week program (this includes snacks provided at all 6 sessions & the 6th session being the complementary joint parent workshop)

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS: Bring your own device (laptop with wifi capabilities)

DATES & TIMES: Session 1: July 2 - July 14
Session 2: July 23 - August 4
Session 3: August 6 - August 18
All sessions will run Tuesdays & Thursdays: 5:30-7:30pm, Sundays: 1:00-3:00pm
