This is Frida 🐾

A longtime companion who loves coming to Oma with her owner, and we love having her here just as much.

She brings a little extra calm, a few smiles, and a lot of warmth to our space every time she visits 🧔

Frida, you’re always welcome at Oma!

Just a normal day at the clinic… šŸ˜„

But also a reminder of how much kids pick up when they grow up around care 🧔

When children are introduced to chiropractic early, they start to build awareness of their bodies, feel more comfortable expressing what they need, and learn to trust how their body feels.

Learning by watching. Practicing by playing. Becoming more connected to themselves along the way šŸ‘€

This month, we’re reflecting on belonging 🧔

For Neurodiversity Awareness Month, we’ve placed affirmation cards around the clinic as small reminders that you are welcome here, just as you are.

Different ways of thinking, feeling, and experiencing the world are not something to be fixed. They are something to be supported, understood, and respected.

Our goal is to create a space where everyone feels safe, seen, and like they belong.

If you visit us this month, take a moment to read one of the cards. You might find exactly what you need 🌿

And if you feel like sharing, what’s an affirmation that’s been supporting you lately?

Body Ready MethodĀ® focuses on mobility, core, pelvis, pelvic floor, and movement patterns to help prepare your body for birth in a more intentional way.

It’s not about doing more. It’s about doing what matters.

Spinal decompression doesn’t have to be complicated 🧔

It’s less about forcing a stretch and more about creating space in a way your body can actually receive.

Here are 3 simple ways to support your spine:

šŸ§— Hanging
• From a bar, tree branch, or rings
• Keep feet supported if needed
• Let shoulders soften + breath slow
→ Uses gravity to gently create space and signal your system to release

šŸ”„ Inversion
• Inversion table
• Professional traction
• Legs up the wall (gentler option)
→ Helps reduce compression, especially after sitting or lifting

šŸ„ Cat / Cow + Movement
• Cat–Cow
• Child’s Pose with long arms
• Slow spinal waves
→ Creates decompression through movement and improves spinal awareness

✨ Think of it as lengthening + letting go
True decompression is both physical and neurological. The more relaxed your system is, the more effective it becomes.

We would never ask you to do something we wouldn’t try first 😌

Testing it… confirming it… and maybe making it a little harder than planned šŸ˜…

Don’t worry, your version will be slightly less chaotic (probably) 🧔

Our physio team helps your body stay strong, supported, and ready for whatever gets thrown (or jumps) your way.

Spring is (finally) here šŸŒæā˜€ļø

Longer days, more sunshine, more time outside…
Walks turn into park hangs, park hangs turn into full on adventures, and suddenly our bodies are doing a lot more than they were a few weeks ago.

And while we love it, our bodies sometimes need a little help keeping up.

That’s where we come in.

Whether it’s supporting movement, easing tension, or helping your body adjust to the change in pace, we’re here to help you move through the season feeling supported and connected to your body 🧔

Sometimes the world can feel overwhelming.

The news cycle moves fast, the problems feel big, and it’s easy to fall into a sense of helplessness or emotional exhaustion.

In her latest blog, Registered Psychotherapist Janine Cole reflects on a simple but powerful shift in perspective: instead of asking ā€œHow do I fix everything?ā€ we can ask ā€œWhat is one small thing I can do today?ā€ 🌱

Small actions like contributing to a community pantry, adding a book to a Little Free Library, joining a local sandwich club, or simply checking in on a neighbour may seem small, but they reconnect us to care, participation, and community.

Sometimes the most meaningful way forward is to narrow the lens and focus on what’s within reach. These small acts of kindness create ripples that support both our own wellbeing and the people around us.

You can read Janine’s full reflection at the link in our bio. ✨

Frozen shoulder, also known as adhesive capsulitis, often shows up as stiffness, reduced shoulder movement, and difficulty with everyday tasks like reaching, dressing, or sleeping.

Chiropractic care can be part of a supportive approach by focusing on shoulder and upper body mobility, guided movement, and active rehab, while also looking at how the shoulder, spine, and nervous system work together.

If you’re noticing persistent shoulder stiffness or movement changes, our chiropractors are here to help 🧔
