This is a friendly reminder for everyone who has private health insurance. Most plans renew on December 31, 2022. If you are interested in taking ahold of your healthcare, come give us a call to book in to see a chiropractor, physiotherapist, massage therapist or chiropodist.

Custom Orthotics are also available and must be Dispensed/Picked up by December 31, 2022 for insurance coverage. Don't wait too late!

Today, the Ontario government issued a province-wide, stay-at-home order, effective Thurs., Jan. 14, 2021, at 12:01 a.m. The order requires everyone to remain at home, except for essential purposes, such as accessing health care services or grocery shopping.

There are no changes to rules around regulated health care professionals, such as chiropractors, registered massage therapists and physiotherapists.

According to Ontario’s Reopening Ontario (A Flexible Response to COVID-19) Act, 2020 (effective Jan. 11, 2021), businesses that can continue to remain open include: health care services provided by regulated health professionals (point #53); organizations that provide health care, including clinics and independent health facilities (point #55) and manufacturers, wholesalers and businesses that provide logistical support of or for products and/or services that support the delivery of health care in all locations (point #58).

Patients and members of the public will be able to continue to visit their chiropractor during their regular hours of operation. And chiropractors will continue to comply with strict PPE and safety precautions to protect their patients and team members.

Dear valued clients of Port Union Chiropractic and Physiotherapy,

We are pleased to announce that we will remain open for business on Monday November 23, 2020. Chiropractic, Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy, and Chiropody services will remain open as per their regulatory boards. COVID-19 policies regarding PPE, face coverings, sanitation practices, and appointment bookings remain in effect.

If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms or have been directed to self-isolate, please inform us immediately and do not enter the clinic. We will attempt to reschedule your appointment to a later date when it is safe to do so. We need to continue to work together to keep each other and the facility a safe and healthy space.

Our 24 hour cancelation policy is still in effect. If you need to cancel an appointment for any reason, please provide us with as much notice as possible as a courtesy to our practitioners.

Re-opening update!

As many people have heard, health care professionals are starting to open up again. I am happy to announce that we are now accepting non-emergent cases for chiropractic, physiotherapy and massage.

Some chiropractic and physiotherapy appointments are available this week with Massages starting Monday June 1st.

With the changes in scheduling, we are currently only booking through email while we can sort out this new system. Please send us an email at portunionhealth@gmail.com with your preferred time and date.

We thank you all for your patience while we can slowly get everything restarted. For everyone's safety, face coverings will be mandatory and we will have hand sanitizers around the clinic for your use.

The Ontario Government has allowed Chiropractors to gradually reopen clinics and start treating non-emergent cases. Updates will be posted here as soon as we can share them, as well to your email.

Hello Community,

Due to COVID-19 and the response of Ontario, we will be closed until further notice.

Please note that we are monitoring the situation closely and will reach out once it is safe to reopen.
