👶🥄Imitation starts early

🧠When babies copy what they see, like banging pots and pans, they’re doing important brain work

💭Early imitation is one of the first building blocks for communication.

👶🏽It helps babies learn turn-taking (I bang… you bang) and cause and effect (banging = fun noises) skills which, lays the foundation for gestures, words, and social interaction later on.

So when your baby copies you, join in, repeat it back, and make it fun! You’re teaching far more than it looks like 💛

Music isn’t just fun…it’s one of the most powerful ways to support early language development 🎶

When you sing with your baby, you’re helping them learn:
💛how sounds and words form
🧡how conversations work (back-and-forth turns)
💙how words connect to actions (“the wheels on the bus go round and round”) and emotions (“if you’re happy and you know it…”)

Try these simple tweaks during your favorite songs:
🎵 Add gestures (wave, clap, bounce) to build understanding
🎵 Pause before key words to invite your baby to “fill it in”
🎵 Exaggerate your tone and facial expressions to hold attention

Those giggles, looks, and “ah!” sounds are your baby practicing communication 💬
And the best part? You don’t need a perfect voice - just a responsive one ❤️

Sing often, sing playfully, and follow your baby’s lead ✨

Why we sing the same songs each week:

🧠Babies love repetition - and it’s doing big things for their brains

🎶Songs slow language down, stretch out sounds, and make words easier for babies to hear and remember.

💭The rhythm and predictability help little ones tune in, anticipate what’s next, and help build early language skills.

⭐️So if you’re singing “Twinkle, Twinkle” for the 100th time … you’re doing more for their brain than you think!

✨Meet The Founders✨
We’re Jessica Hansen (CDA) and Alessia Tenaglia (SLP) - clinicians and fellow moms who know just how overwhelming parenthood can feel.

With so much information out there about child development, it’s easy to feel like you’re supposed to have it all figured out. We’re here to change that.

Our mission? To empower you with simple, evidence-based language strategies that fit into real life - bathtime, bedtime, snack time, and everything in between. No fancy toys, no extra prep… just everyday moments turned into meaningful opportunities to connect and build your child’s communication skills naturally and joyfully. ✨

Over our 7-week program, we’ll share practical strategies, weekly handouts, and personalized support from both a CDA and an SLP. You’ll also have the option to join our WhatsApp group to celebrate wins, ask questions, and connect with other parents along the way. 💬
Parenting is busy! Learning shouldn’t be complicated. Let’s make communication fun, easy, and doable together. 💛
