✍🏻 Free 6-Week Virtual Workshop Series | Winter 2026 ❤️
Hosted by the Ted Rogers Centre for Heart Research, Writing the Heart is a free expressive-writing workshop for Canadians living with heart disease, heart failure, or who have received a heart transplant.
A heart diagnosis can turn life upside down and bring powerful emotions—fear, anger, grief, and loss—that are often hard to express. This supportive workshop offers a gentle space to explore those feelings through guided writing, reflection, and shared connection.
Facilitated by Sharon Bray, Ed.D.—author, educator, and heart failure patient—this small-group series uses writing prompts and deep listening to build community and remind participants they are not alone.
