Craft your story and connect with other transplant recipients, donors, and caregivers in a safe and supportive space guided by Dr. Sharon Bray.
Centre for Living Organ Donation is offering a 6-week expressive writing workshop designed to help you explore and share your transplant journey through guided writing exercises.

🕒 Time: 12:00–1:30 PM EDT
📍 Location: Online (Zoom)

Open to transplant recipients, living donors, those on the waiting list, and caregivers. Attendance at all six sessions is expected. Spots are limited to 25 participants.

Join us as HeartLinks hosts a special speaker event with Kathleen Zavarise, Director of the CTA Ontario. She’ll be sharing information about the upcoming Transplant Games in Sherbrooke, QC this summer, as well as details about the CTA’s participation in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade here in Toronto, where members will proudly walk to spread awareness about organ donation.

With Be A Donor Month approaching in April, this is a wonderful opportunity to learn, connect, and explore how we can continue raising awareness together as a community.

Wear Red Canada, led by the Canadian Women’s Heart Health Alliance, raises awareness that heart disease affects women differently. Too many women are still underdiagnosed and underrepresented in research, even though heart disease remains a leading cause of death among Canadian women.

We are proud to share that our Transplant Centre has set a new standard of excellence in 2025, having completed 777 organ transplants!
This included 259 kidneys, 205 lungs, 196 livers, 44 hearts, 42 pancreas’, and 31 islets.
Thank you to our dedicated clinical teams and the generosity of donors who contributed to this extraordinary accomplishment.
