HeartLinks is saddened to share the passing of Linda Willis, on Saturday April 11th ❤️
Linda was more than a supporter, she was a constant presence of kindness, generosity, and compassion within our community.
A devoted wife to Mike(a heart transplant recipient), Linda stood beside him every step of the way. But her impact reached far beyond caregiving.
She was a remarkable living donor who, over the years, gave the gift of life more than once, including the donation of a kidney in 2019. Her generosity knew no bounds.
Linda also shared her heart through her creativity, knitting “Hero Bears” that brought comfort to so many, with proceeds supporting HeartLinks and heart transplant research at UHN.
She volunteered her time, captured special moments through her photos, and always showed up with warmth, humour, and love.
We are holding Mike and all who loved Linda in our hearts during this incredibly difficult time 🤍
