Gazelles have horizontal pupils for horizon scanning. This shape helps them clearly scan the flat savannah landscape without moving their head much. ➖👁️

Their eyes are positioned higher on the skull. This lets them keep watch for predators even while grazing low to the ground. 🏞️

They have excellent depth perception while running. Even at high speeds, their visual system helps them dodge obstacles and zigzag away from threats like the Cheetah. 🏃‍♀️💨
