One of the best things in life are the friendships we’ve made along the way. At Westgate Lodge, many friendships have developed over the years and it’s so special to see a group of friends gather and celebrate special moments together. A few weeks ago, many residents got together to wish their friend a happy birthday and eat some delicious German chocolate cake! 🎂

Elvis was in the building again! He is always a favourite of our Westgate Lodge residents. This visit we celebrated the King while enjoying his favourite grilled peanut butter, banana and bacon sandwiches. 🎶

We love playing games at Crown Ridge Place! One afternoon we invented Snowman Bowling! (aka turning a game of bowling into a tabletop version that anyone could enjoy) The room was filled with fun and laughter, as residents enjoyed learning/trying out a new bowling technique, taking turns, and cheering each other on. After all their hard work, everyone relaxed with some refreshments and snacks to finish the afternoon. 🎳

Handmade with heart 💖 Our residents at Crown Ridge Retirement had fun getting creative at our Valentine’s Card Making Social! It was a wonderful afternoon full of crafting, conversation, and celebration. 💝💐✂️

Has anyone ever played Toque Bingo? It was just that kind of afternoon at Westgate Lodge. Last month, on a Monday we had a friendly competition, with a cozy twist on a classic game. It was filled with fun and plenty of laughs. Who knew bingo could be this stylish? ✨

Two special moments from today at Westgate Lodge 💕
During orientation we cover many important and serious topics — with a little fun mixed in to keep things light. Our newest team members brought the energy and reminded us that learning together can also mean laughing together.
And with Valentine’s Day tomorrow, we couldn’t miss sharing this beautiful moment between one of our lovely couples, as he asked her to be his Valentine. ❤️
