I have a mission to end ! Your salad should be more than a pile of leaves in a bowl, make a masterpiece 🥗

Add toppings like a variety of veggies, chopped turkey, tuna, jalapenos and banana peppers (just to name a few!). Use oil based dressings or salsa as a your dressing (my favourite!).

Just say no to sad salads and start building some beasts 😁🤘

Here's what you don't have to do to get healthier and stronger:

*You don't have to buy food you don't actually like - stick with the fresh foods you know you enjoy.
*You don't have to buy any supplements at all. Literally, none! If health came in a pill, powder or tea -- what would we need food for? Try moving more and eating real food.
*You don't have to workout for hours or do cardio everyday. Start with adding 20 to 30 minutes of activity a few times a week.
*You don't have to give up all of your favourite things. You can still enjoy dinners out, drinks, desserts -- you just have to add in the good stuff more! Pizza can be a fun treat instead of everyday lunch!
*You don't have to follow your friend's diet, your co-worker's cleanse or your neighbours starvation method..no, no, no! If these things worked, they would be backed by science and famous.

Trust me - drink water daily, eat some food that comes from the Earth and move more - once these habits are consistent, you can add more! This isn't about fads, diets or tricks - this is your body and life! You one get one of both!.

Keeping food colourful is a good habit to start with. For each meal, try to incorporate as much colour as you can and you'll find yourself getting more fresh food.

🌈Mother nature includes the rainbow in what she grows...humans usually don't in the food they manufacture.

Here's a favourite dinner meal of mine: Stuffed Peppers!
They're easy since you can stuff them however you want. Google some ideas to inspire you, it really is endless!

I used what I had on hand for mine which included smoked meat, other veggies and cheese 😋. You know, the stuff that warms the soul.

Your mindset about weight loss has likely lived in this cycle for quite some time...that you have to punish yourself to see any results.

But the actual truth is that healthy eating isn’t about punishment. It’s about discovering what fuels you nutrition wise including what gives you energy, clarity, and freedom without guilt.

That’s why I love this mindset reset and have taught it to many Refire clients over the years:
✅ Choosing foods that love you back
✅ Exploring vibrant, flavourful whole foods
✅ Balancing occasional treats without shame
✅ Taking small, sustainable steps toward lasting wellness

This isn’t a diet. This is a way to finally stop fighting with food and start working with yourself.

Save this post somewhere you can see it. When the old “restrict, deprive, overwhelm” thoughts creep in, come back here. Let it remind you that balance is possible and progress comes in small, consistent steps!
