Child-centred therapy meets children where they are developmentally. Children are given space to lead in ways that feel natural to them, while the therapist provides structure, safety, and guidance. It’s not “just play,” but intentional, evidence-based support that helps children express themselves, build regulation, and feel understood.

The Willow Tree Room🌿

We’re so excited to share our third and final treatment space: the Willow Tree Room. Willow trees are often associated with resilience, flexibility, healing, and emotional strength, bending without breaking and thriving near water.

Each of our rooms has been thoughtfully designed with intention and care, and we can’t wait to use this space to support clients and families as they grow, heal, and reconnect.

The days after the holidays can feel tender for kids. Big excitement, lots of connection, and then a return to regular routines. These “snow globe days” are a normal part of the transition. Gentle understanding, predictable rhythms, and space to rest can go a long way.

So we turned a closet into The Treehouse 🌿A sensory-friendly space designed for calm, comfort, and regulation, because everyone deserves a place to land before therapy begins.

The Maple Tree Room Reveal 🍁

We’re excited to introduce the Maple Tree Room, the second of our therapy spaces at Family Tree Therapy. The maple tree is often associated with balance, resilience, and gentle change, a fitting reflection of the work that happens within these walls.

This room was designed to feel steady, welcoming, and supportive, offering space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect.

More room reveals are coming soon as we continue to share the spaces that make up our growing therapy home 🌱

New Space Reveal 🌿

We’re so excited to share a glimpse of our new space at Family Tree Therapy.

Today, we’re starting with the Karaka Room, the first of our treatment rooms, each thoughtfully named after a tree. The Karaka tree symbolizes strength, nourishment, and deep roots, qualities we hope you’ll feel the moment you step inside.

Over the next few days, we’ll be revealing more rooms and spaces, each designed with care to support safety, connection, and healing.
