Update

While the outbreak situation on East Unit is improving, the unit remains closed to non-essential visitors until the outbreak is declared over by the Medical Officer of Health (MOH).

A Designated Support Person (DSP) or Substitute Decision Maker (SDM) on file can visit their loved one during the remainder of the outbreak, following the below guidelines:

- Visits are limited to one designated person per resident.
- The designated visitor cannot change from day to day.
- If an SDM wishes to assign someone else as the designated visitor, please contact Julie at Reception (902-843-3939 ext. 221) in advance to make arrangements.
- Visits are permitted on weekends and evenings, however, please continue to respect the one-visitor guideline until the outbreak is officially declared over.
- Please visit in the resident’s room and avoid common/living areas.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we continue to prioritize the safety and well-being of all residents and staff.

Sincerely,
