Mindset changing journal prompt for this week: “Somewhere between the crunch of leaves and the whistling winds, there’s magic to be heard. Are you listening?”
✍🏼
A mindful mindset in nature helps us get grounded. The swirl of thoughts you have can settle into a smooth rhythm, like leaves settling to the forest floor. This week get out into Nature. Smell the scents. Feel the breezes. Listen. There’s magic there for you to hear. There’s medicine for your mind.
Each week a new prompt will be available to ponder and journal on.

A girl can dream……. I was quietly enjoying my favourite publication one afternoon, tucked in by a fire in my cabin stove on a cool October day, when I suddenly realized - I was in it! Thank you The assignment was “Imaginary shops we dream of owning”. To read the words in these books always calms me. To see my own dreams written in it brought me to tears.

Mindset changing journal prompt for this week: “How is Nature telling me it’s time to rest?”
✍🏼
Nature goes through cycles and over our human history we too went through those cycles. In our most recent human history we’ve thought up ways to trick our body into resisting what it intrinsically knows - electricity to make the dark bright, and technology to eat summer foods in winter.
To stay in tune with Nature means to stay in tune with your own nature. Be mindful to notice the shifts happening around you and you can become aware of the shifts within you as well.
Each week a new prompt will be available to ponder and journal on.

“A cross-government evaluation shows just how transformative green social prescribing can be: over two years, more than 8,300 people engaged in nature-based activities (such as gardening, conservation or outdoor exercise) and saw meaningful benefits for mental health.”
- Ben Thomas
Read more about nature based therapeutic benefits in the article, published in the Healthcare Counselling and Psychotherapy Journal, October 2025.

Open article: Therapeutic gardening can help reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, loneliness, social isolation and stress. And there are no side effects, as Ben Thomas explains. Healthcare Counselling and Psychotherapy Journal, October 2025.

Mindset changing journal prompt for this week: “What does the thinning veil mean to you? What’s coming through to you as it thins?”
✍🏼
Take a slow walk this week through a nature trail, where possible. As the autumn leaves circle around you, crunching underfoot, breathe in the smells and feel the breeze as the veil thins around you over the coming days. Perhaps the ancients are whispering to you. Honour what they may be trying to tell you as you settle in for the restful cycle of the season.
Each week a new prompt will be available to ponder and journal on.

I needed that. Sharing a ☕️ with a dear friend can change anyone’s mindset from one of discouraged and lonely to encouraged and connected. I highly recommend a monthly dose. In fact I’m writing it into my Therapeutic Plan for my clients right now ✍🏼

Mindset changing journal prompt for this week: “Describe 3 beautiful things seen in Nature this week.”
✍🏼
We don’t stop playing because we grow old…You know the saying. Have some fun this week AND become mindful of beautiful things out in Nature right now. The seasons are shifting into a restful state. Soon enough we’ll be blanketed in a crisp cold, creating a whole new beauty around us. Appreciate the season you’re in now. The smells, rich colours and the feel of the autumn breeze. Gather the moments like a treasure hunt and journal on what you find. Have something to return to during the dark, bitter cold months ahead.
Each week a new prompt will be available to ponder and journal on.

Mindset changing journal prompt for this week: “What’s a problem you need to solve, but haven’t had time to think about?”
✍🏼
Time spent in nature, even around indoor plants, has short-term mental health benefits, like regulating our nervous system. Just 20 minutes can lower our stress hormones and reduce the heart rate, allowing the brain to relax; exactly what is needed to approach a problem. Find a place. Let Nature work its magic on your problem.
Each week a new prompt will be available to ponder and journal on.
