There is a version of my story that exists in medical charts, timelines, and surgery counts.

But the real story lives in the quiet moments. Learning how to cope with uncertainty, grieving the life I thought I would have, and slowly realizing that the hardest part of chronic pain is not always the pain itself, but how alone it can make you feel.

Together Through Pain was created from that space, and has since grown into a registered nonprofit dedicated to peer support, advocacy, and connection for those living with chronic pain and illness.

From the need for connection.
From wanting people to feel believed.
From understanding how powerful it is to sit in a space where nobody questions what you are carrying.

If you are here, it means your experiences are valid, even when they are complicated, invisible, or difficult to explain.
And most importantly, it means you do not have to navigate this alone.

A Statement on Respect

I have always been proud to serve this community with over 17 years of experience in healthcare. Opening this clinic in Tweed has been an honour.

Recently, an individual contacted me with concerns about the appearance and positioning of a team member inside our clinic through the window in the evening. Let me be clear:

We operate within professional standards at all times.

Team members may have medically necessary accommodations in place. Those accommodations are lawful, appropriate, and not subject to public commentary.

What is not appropriate is observing someone from outside a business and making unsolicited remarks about their body, attire, or physical positioning.

We are a healthcare clinic. We advocate for people living with chronic conditions. We support one another. And we set clear boundaries.

If anyone has concerns about services, I welcome respectful, direct communication.

Commentary about individuals will not be entertained.

We will continue to serve this community with professionalism, dignity, and compassion.

The ribbon is officially cut ✂️

While Restore Allied Health has already been open and serving our community, this moment gave us the opportunity to pause and reflect on how far we have come.

What began as a small massage therapy clinic has grown into a collaborative allied health space offering Registered Massage Therapy, Osteopathy, Reflexology, Reiki, Homeopathy, and complementary modalities. Every service is rooted in professional care, compassion, and results.

Located at 235 Victoria St N in Tweed, Restore was built to be a place where people feel heard, supported, and confident in their care. A space where recovery is intentional, progress is personal, and improving quality of life is always the goal.
We are proud of what has been created within these walls and grateful to the community that continues to trust us.
