These appointments are provided by Loyalist College students in the Massage Therapy program under the supervision of a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT).

Priority is given to infants, children, youth, and those who are pregnant or post-partum.

This role is rooted in Indigenous ways of knowing, being, and doing. The CDW works alongside community members, Elders, Knowledge Keepers, and health providers to support culturally grounded programs, community wellness initiatives, advocacy, and client support.

Dr. Jamaica Cass has been appointed to the Order of Ontario, the provinceโ€™s highest civilian honour. She is being recognized for her leadership and the impact she continues to make in Indigenous health and medical education.

This honour is given to individuals whose work has left a lasting legacy in Ontario. For anyone who knows Jamaica knows just how deeply committed she is to community, to advocacy, and to improving care for Indigenous peoples.

Her leadership inspires our team every day. We are grateful to walk alongside her in this work.
