Kim is brilliant — endlessly dedicated to continuing education, supporting her nursing team, and ensuring every treatment we offer is delivered with the highest level of safety, care, professionalism and expertise.

But beyond her brilliance, she’s also one of the most real and fun humans you’ll ever meet. She’s the queen of anatomy and pharmacology — and also the first to say, “Wait, are we numbing for this?” 😂

During our Cadaver Lab, .julie shared that she performs roughly six cadaver trainings each month — and even now, continues to discover new anatomical variations from what textbooks teach us lies beneath the surface.

Fascinating? Terrifying? Absolutely both — and that’s exactly why I believe it’s so important, as your injector, to continuously invest in my education, training, and skill development.

Thank you .aesthetic.nurses for providing an opportunity of a lifetime, and for empowering aesthetic nurses to lead with knowledge, safety, and confidence.

Today was both a humbling and empowering reminder of why continuous education is at the heart of aesthetic medicine.

Attending my first Cadaver Lab, hosted by the Canadian Society of Aesthetic Specialty Nurses and led by the incredible Julie Bass Kaplan, was truly unforgettable.

A powerful, hands-on experience that deepened my understanding and respect for the art and science behind what we do every day.

Always learning, always grateful for this journey.🤍

Training days are some of my favourites 🤍

This beautiful transformation was created during our Inject the Injector Day at Uplifted Medical earlier this week, with guidance from Nurse Injector Shay, and the support of both Prollenium & Clarion.

I had the opportunity to perform a facial balancing treatment on one of our beautiful colleagues — and wow, did this one deliver. ✨

We focused on:
💉 Softening the nasolabial folds
💉 Refining the chin and pre-jowl area
💉 Subtle perioral rejuvenation
💉 Enhancing her already stunning lip shape

When placed with intention, filler can be so beautifully natural — enhancing light, softening shadows, and restoring balance without changing who you are.

Thank you to Shay for sharing her expertise, to Kim for providing these opportunities for our Team, and to my model for trusting me during this session. I can’t wait to bring these refined techniques into my own practice. 🤍
