This was such a powerful, liberating and challenging conversation with .nutritionist

Since we were kids, we’ve been given rules about food.
Eat this. Don’t eat that.
You can have one cookie, but only if you finish your dinner.
You need to earn dessert.

And as adults, the rules just got louder.
“Eat this much protein.”
“Cut carbs.”
“Go gluten-free.”
“Dairy causes inflammation.”
“Sugar is toxic.”

Most people I work with comes in asking for rules.
What’s right?
What’s wrong?
What should I be eating?

And underneath those questions, there’s often something deeper.
Shame when they can’t follow the rules perfectly.
Guilt when they eat something they “shouldn’t.”
And confusion because the rules keep changing.

But here’s the question that changes everything…
Do we even need these rules?

Are they grounded in science, or built on fear and perfectionism?
Are they helping us feel better, or creating more stress, judgment, and pressure?

Have they taken the joy out of eating and living?

In this powerful episode, I sit down with Dr. Jenn Salib Huber, ND (.nutritionist), to talk about what happens when we break up with food rules, and build a relationship with food that’s flexible, freeing, and grounded in trust and science.

Because real health doesn’t come from following the perfect plan.
It comes from understanding your body, and giving yourself permission to listen.

I was wrong.

A few weeks ago, I posted:
“What’s the most expensive supplement you’ve ever bought?”
And I (half-jokingly) said: broccoli in a bottle, aka sulforaphane.

Yes, it’s pricey…
But after a deeper discussion inside my Autoimmune Foundations program, I realized I was wrong about that post...

👉 The most expensive supplement is the one that doesn’t work.

Here’s why this matters:
If your supplement isn’t backed by research…
❓How do you know you're taking the correct dose??
⁉️Or if it even helps move the needle at all??

You’re not just wasting money, you’re losing time, clarity, and momentum in your healing. And you could be putting your self at risk for interactions or a flare.

▶️ Take CoQ10, for example.
Many people take 100 mg for fatigue. But most of the research supports 300–500 mg daily, depending on the autoimmune condition to actually see results.

So if you’re underdosing, it might seem like it’s not working, but really, it was never enough to begin with.

You don’t need a cupboard full of random pills, wondering if they are even working.

You need a clear strategy, rooted in evidence.

✨ Your healing doesn’t have to be expensive and confusing. It should be strategic and effective.

What if healing your gut wasn’t about cutting foods out… but adding the right ones in?

I just dropped a podcast episode that dives into a study I had to share with you, one of the first (and maybe only) randomized controlled trials showing how specific foods actually help reduce intestinal permeability (aka “leaky gut”).

✳️ Real food.
✳️ Measured results.
✳️ And yes… 2 of my favourite foods made the list.

If you’re tired of chasing gut healing protocols and want real science-backed insights you will love this episode this one’s for you.

This might be one of my favourite episodes!

𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁.

Rest isn’t a reward for pushing through.
It’s not something you get after you’ve checked every box.
It’s not a luxury for when life slows down.

Rest is a non-negotiable part of thriving.
It’s where your body heals.
It’s where your nervous system resets.
It’s how you prevent burnout, not recover from it.

If you’re waiting for permission… this is it.
Rest isn’t selfish.
Rest isn’t lazy.
Rest is leadership over your health.

Let’s normalize resting before you hit empty.
Let’s stop glorifying hustle at the cost of your well-being.

Because you don’t have to earn rest...
You already deserve it.

I’ve spent 5 years, read over 20,000 research papers… and here’s what no one is telling you about autoimmune nutrition

I’m going to say it straight:

Most of the diets you hear about online, AIP, keto, carnivore, vegan, gluten-free, sound promising…

But when you look at the actual research?

✅ Most don’t stand up to clinical trials
✅ Many are too restrictive to sustain
✅ Some even increase health risks like osteoporosis and heart disease

💥 And the kicker?

The one diet that consistently shows up in the research as effective for autoimmune health…

…isn’t even marketed for autoimmune.

It’s the Mediterranean diet.

The one diet that actually improves symptoms, inflammation, gut health, cardiovascular risk, AND overall health — across multiple autoimmune conditions, with real science to back it up.

So before you eliminate everything you love, know this:
👉 Your autoimmune nutrition doesn’t need to be restrictive
👉 You don’t have to live on rabbit food or bone broth
👉 And you definitely don’t need another social media diet trend

I’m breaking down exactly what the research says (and doesn’t say) inside my new program, with clear, evidence-based guidance that puts YOU back in control of your health.
