Junk DNA or non-coding DNA makes up about 98% of DNA. It was named "junk", as it was previously thought to have no purpose, unlike the 2% of coded DNA. Now, scientists are finding that much of the junk DNA actually serves a purpose.

Do identical twins share identical DNA?
