Did you know that we send a certified practice Registered Nurse to the local high schools to help students with sexual health decision making, free contraception and STI testing, immunizations, and more?

We rotate through Francis Kelsey, Chemainus Secondary, and Cowichan Valley Open Learning Centre (CVOCL) on Wednesdays. Check out the posters for more information and please share with a local youth!

Hey dads! Looking for something fun to do with your kids under 7?
Come hang out at LRCA’s Dad’s Drop-In — a free, friendly space to play, chat, and connect with other fathers.
Because time spent together is what matters most.

Enjoy your Halloween treats and keep your smile healthy too!

Here’s how:
- Brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste.
- Spit, don’t rinse. After brushing, spit out the toothpaste but wait 10 to 30 minutes before rinsing, so the fluoride can keep working.
- Have treats with meals. Eating sweets as part of a meal is better than snacking all day. Teeth need breaks to recover.
- Drink plain water after eating. It helps rinse away sugar and acid.
