Happy Easter from Lucas and his best pal, K9CI Murphy! 🐣🐰🌱

These two have been making the most of the long weekend—building their bond and settling into a consistent routine as part of their integration journey.

For an Autism Support Service Dog, creating a successful team involves many important components. With young children—especially those who are non-verbal—the bonding process is not only essential for the child, but equally important for the primary handler, typically the parent or guardian.

Alongside his connection with Lucas, Murphy is also spending valuable time with Lucas’s mom. She plays a key role in his development—handling daily grooming, reinforcing obedience and training, supporting downtime, and ensuring his overall welfare and enrichment.

Great work team! ♥️

K9CI Murphy showcased his skills as an Autism Service Dog to his future primary handler, preparing to support his future little human in navigating life! 🌎

We're grateful for trainers Brittany and Clayton, who've spent months preparing K9CI Murphy for a busy home environment, teaching him decompression tasks, crowd buffering, and more!

The integration process has begun and we're thrilled for this family's new journey!

“Hi - Hello, this is K9CI Leslie! Reporting for duty!” 🫡

K9CI Leslie (in honour of Leslie Sutherland of Corunna, ON - Sponsored and named by - Ontario Command’s Corunna Branch 477!) training hard with full power and precision! Being a young pup, we focus on basic obedience, socialization and honing his environmental neutrality.

Though a lover of belly rubs, Leslie never says no to training and having fun!

The dog and trainer bond is so important. If we expect great results, we need to get acquainted with and celebrate the dog in front of us.

K9CI Rosco is no exception! Since he was selected and placed in his program, both he and his trainer have taken time to develop their relationship outside the training sessions. From relaxing and enjoying each other's company, playing with one another, cooperative care of getting brushed and his nails trimmed to something as simple as feeding time!

These dogs spend the first two years of life with us, which means we raise them in our home and in our hearts. ♥️

What a show! 🎤

K9CI Jeph accompanied his handler to the Lucas Zelick comedy show hosted by the Queen Elizabeth Theatre this week! 🎭

Can we take a moment to thank the amazing venue staff for accommodating our team’s accessibility needs? It’s always great to hear that not only do these dogs grant mobility and break down barriers for their handlers but that the businesses and venues also put forth the effort to ensure disabled individuals are served. Thank you so much! ♥️

The way K9CI C**t looks at his handler is so full of love. He has started consistently responding to her fainting spells by being calm and applying tactile stimulation with body pressure whether that's sitting up or lying on the floor. These two are gearing up for another home visit as he progresses in his training!

Go team, go! 🎉
