Welcome Karen! 💙

We are so excited to introduce Karen, who is a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist, to the Centre Health team! Karen brings compassion, skill and a deep understanding of how the mind and body connect.

She helps individuals and couples find paths to healing, growth and emotional connection.

Meet Karen:

Karen uses evidence-based and intuitive approaches to connect clients with their emotions, needs, and goals so new paths and solutions can emerge. She is completing MSW studies through the University of Waterloo, which emphasizes current and effective approaches to supporting mental health and chronic health concerns. Karen is experienced in empowering clients of all ages to navigate grief, anger, anxiety, depression, or mood disorders. She supports couples to grow stronger and closer through skill-building in communication, constructive conflict, and emotional connection. She is a level two CBT practitioner specializing in trauma-informed approaches, chronic health condition management, and has Gottman Method for Couples training. Her practice is also informed by Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative Therapy. She is passionate about supporting you with shaping the inner change you desire.
