πŸ” Research Opportunity Alert! 🧠✨

Curious about groundbreaking OCD research in BC? πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ We're investigating the effects of celecoxib, an anti-inflammatory medication, when added to standard treatments for OCD. Here's what you need to know:

🌟 What's the study about?
Exploring how celecoxib, a twice-daily medication, influences OCD symptoms in children over 12 weeks. We're delving into the potential benefits of this non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug.

πŸ” What happens in the study?
Participants will complete a phone interview, three in-person/remote visits, and online questionnaires. Blood work, height, and weight measurements ensure safety and track progress. Participants may receive celecoxib or a placebo for 12 weeks, with an optional extension. No interruption to current OCD treatments required!

🌈 Who can participate?
Children & youth (7-18) in BC with diagnosed OCD and current symptoms. Participation is voluntary, and it won't affect your current medical care.
