There have been hours and hours of rehearsal and love and care gone into this Solstice composition rooted in the Old European journey through death to the light so it was such an honour to share.

We acknowledge the community songs and lineages and lands that the offerings came from: Ireland, Nth and Sth America, Peru and this Cherokee Morning Song.

Thanks also to Mieke Jay for the amazing visuals, Sandy Dow for sharing your incredible drumming during Sky’s DJ set, Viti for photography and of course so many volunteers and family/partners, and friends, who came to serve , set up and tear down, hold space during the , and just generally bring your medicine. We look forward to seeing you all again soon.
In the meantime keep breathing in the light of inspiration:)))

Update! As you may have heard, all of the floor spots for our cacao ceremony are taken BUT if you still want to join us for this Winter Solstice celebration, we have opened up tickets for the dance portion of the evening. $20 - doors open at 10:00pm. Come and immerse in community and dance dance dance!

Your DJ: SKY BRAY is an animist, a mystic, a musical adventurer. A local DJ for many years, she loves to conjure music collage from the heart of the enchanted forest, layering organic tribal beats upon deep luscious bass, channeling ancestral voices, spirit helpers and melodic vocals. Magic is her muse. A packed dancefloor is her goal. Having taken a hiatus, she is super excited to get back on the decks with new Vancouver ceremonial music collective, Sisters in Sound.

We are delighted to bring you a Winter Solstice ceremonial composition with our UNIQUE synthesis of sacred cacao and shamanic meditation enfolded in a variety of instrumental tones, celestial vocal harmonies, medicine songs, and entrancing ambient soundscapes, gift wrapped with vibration rising collective toning and mantra.

After the ceremony, DJ Sky Bray will continue the journey with funky tribal beats to dance you into radiant illumination.
